yee
I don't have a need for a pure tablet, but something convertible like that would be perfect.

What kinda laptop would I be looking at for around $500? Mine has been pissing me off lately with its speed.
Have a couple of bonds for not missing school in elementary/high school, think they're worth about $850 right now, might be worth it to get them and buy a new laptop.

If I can't get a good one I might as well wait.

Thing that put me over the top is that it can apparently run OSX pretty well, so even though I won't be using it as my main laptop for more than a six months to a year max, it will have some value after that as something I can run Mac stuff on.
