Stotts offense has really gone away from Aldridge though, he's trying to turn him into a three point shot less Dirk...love what its done for batum, but hate Aldridge in it, he was definitely better under McMillans feed Aldridge and figure it out from there

You can easily get that production out of any mediocre to decent big in the league.), they replaced Wallace with Batum having a bigger role and Wallace just happened to be the guy they got Lillard with, so 2 for 1 their. You mean Felton the guy you were just dogging earlier in this thread, and you claim him to be such a big loss? Please the guy sucked before this year and you got a better PG anyway. Crawford had his worst season with you guys, Blazers were more than happy to let him go.

Let me tell you what you did get, JJ Hickson(guy only played 19 games for you guys last season, already eclipsed the production he gave you last year averaging 12/10 so far this season.) Bigger production out of Batum, great production out of your rookie PG. as for those 5 rookies in your rotation(I wouldn't call it much of a rotation) they barely play. 3 of your starters play 37+ mpg, Matthews plays 34 and Hickson plays 28. The only one of those other rookies besides Lillard who plays significant minutes is Leonard a big man who they expect big things out of when they start feeding him more minutes. Claver/Freeland haven't even played more than 17 games so I wouldn't consider that being part of the rotation, more like they play in certain spots. This does not equal a rebuilding team. If the were rebuilding, Aldridge would be gone.

lol at getting 9 boards and 1.5 blocks out of any mediocre big. 9 boards is top 15 in the NBA. 1.5 blocks is top 20.

lol not to mention Camby was one of their few competent defenders in general.


The Blazers aren't full rebuild, saying that is foolish, but they're also at the very least retooling. By no means should wins/losses define their season, they're looking to acquire assets and build the value of their roster.

Their offense is pretty solid at this point. They really need a defensive anchor though, an Aldridge+Hickson frontcourt does not work defensively.

he fineshed 16th in rebounding, but take a look at the players who averaged 7-9 rpg over the span of last season then compare the guys who played similar minutes. There in lies what I mean when I say that, it's not difficult to understand that. That statline is nothing special to whine about losing and claim that your team is rebuilding because you lost that. Lamarcus Aldridge managed 8 rpg...
