There's bound to be more low post scorers entering the league. There's at least one guy every year. The league will never go back to 5-10 guys, but there will always be 3-5 guys capable. Even that's a small number though exactly, and the odds of a team having two guys that can post you up down low, which would be cause for concern defensively, are small...it just doesnt make sense unless one can stretch the court as well, because youd be stuck clogging the paint. Drummond Monroe is the biggest chance, and even then, I doubt both those guys end up working together, just because of the post up dynamic. Drummond isn't going to be a post up threat and Drummond plays mostly in the high post anyways. I get what you're saying, but meh, I just don't think playing LeBron at the 4 is what is best long term. I guess we'll see. his shooting has come such a long way, and it seems like he takes his conditioning seriously now, I think he will be a 3. |

I dont think Drummond ever become the back to the basket type of guy, seems more like he'll always be the second opportunity/lob guy if anything(Kinda like a bigger more dominant Chandler). It'll be a long time before we see anoth Bynum/Gasol combo again, where both guys can work out of the post. |
