Hola! Como estas?? Just here with my boy Nanz and the 3rd edition of Ice Seats. This one might not last long because Nanz brings the fire fast. Seriously. Dig in!
1. Let's get the boring stuff out of the way first. You're team is unbelievably bad, but that's what you want. What are your plans to turn this team into a winner before you get CY'd?
LOL little fact is that I have been never in my CY and I intend to keep it that way. We are pretty damn terrible, that for sure, but we have 2 pieces that should set us up pretty nicely for the future. Melo is a sick prospect who should continue to develop into a complete superstar, no doubts about THAT. Deng on the other hand could become a star but at the very least I think he will be a very very good player. He might not become a 20 point scorer but he should be a stud with no real flaws to his game. The plan is to tank this year for sure and try to get another top 5 pick which should be pretty sick. We seem to be bad enough to do so and adding another star to Deng and Melo would be hotter than my left ballsack which is the hottest one. After this year, with some RCs and ACs plus another TC we should be good enough to try to compete for that 8th seed for sure. We are off to a good start
2. If you were to land the #1 pick this year and without knowing what CP3 or Deron look like as of now, who would you prefer? The handles and quickness of CP3 or the shooting touch and strength of Deron?
I think they are both gonna be a studs without a doubt. I know that Repole ruined assists in this league so Spence HAS to make CP3 a sick scorer who will get 3 steals a game. Deron is also gonna be sick scoring 20+ a game and tickling my fancy. I'd go with CP3 just because Spence has him as his Avatar and like LOL why would I go against that! He is the boss. I'd love either one of them lol This team needs a point guard and if I can get either one of them I'd probably cut my dick off out of pure excitement and joy.
Erbes: Ouch.
3. Give me some of your early season predictions. Who is going to win the championship? MVP? GM of the Year? Do you think the Celtics will repeat?
LOL I mean like mom? awk LOLZ. The championship goes to the Celtics. Shaq and Duncan are so damn sick they are just impossible to guard. Artest is better this year and Howard is very solid. They should be close to a lock to winning the ring again (THANKS TO YOU). Though their point guard really blows lol. They will not only repeat but will probably three-peat. Tough duo to take down.
MVP: I'd guess that Nash will probably win another one but I'll go with Timmy. I mean jeez have you seen his numbers so far this year? I know its early and yeah 4 Tos is pretty high but 35.5 points 14 rebounds 5.6 assists and 4 blocks? Holy shit this guy is such a stud. There is no reason for me to think he can't keep this up. Only 28 years old, man this guy is gonna dominate for a while.
GM of the Year: This is too early to call. I'm sure there are gonna be some trades that shake things up throughout the season that may decide this award. If everything stays the same.... I'll probably go with Game. I voted for Skillz last year but I think Game deserves a lot of credit for building a good team. Chances are he'll win 60 again and thats a nice start for him. Solid job Game.
4. What are your thoughts on people complaining about the posting? Do you think Spencer should give us Post Pads? Or should we tell those people to STFU and/or GTFO!?
I know that Spence is not gonna give us Post Pads and its cool, I dont mind it. I think that Spam is pretty bad right now from a few GMs like Svedda but hey I know I have been guilty of spamming to some degree. I try to have somewhat of a conversation with other GMs and get my posts that way and I know thats what Spence is asking for us to do. It really isn't hard to do and I had an incredible time talking about Bball with the bros Maniac and Insane. Hype joined in at the end and it was even better. HF even showed up and said some stuff and Play made an appearance about how Kanye sucked balls in Clique. I had a great time last night

5. It's pretty obvious that some of the GMs in the league are ruining it for everybody. Out of all the inactive GMs, your friend Haberman included, who do you think deserves to NOT be fired at this point in time? What do they bring to the table that you think is so special?
My friend Habes is the obvious answer. HANDS DOWN NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! Habes is a long time player in the game FO SHO. He is capable of bringing a shit ton to the league. He is HILARIOUS and even in the short amount of time he has been around he made that classic CC thread that had me loling fo sho. When he is back to being active he is one of the best posters for sure and gets things started. He likes to call out people and is just overall a great guy. He has also lost about 87 pounds so yeah he is pretty special. He is going bald a little (well not a little) but like who cares he looks good. On the other hand... DJ like damn 67 posts? I dont think I've seen any of them to be honest LOL. So far i dont think he has held anything up so I'm cool with that. Marty has been pretty bad. Yeah he is like "look at me I post!!!" but he has been shit. At least before he was entertaining but now its just meh. I'm sure he is busy though, I think he said he had a new job that didn't allow him to access some pages? I dont know.
6. I asked this to Maniac in my first Ice Seat and I think it's going to become a mainstay. I'm going to give you a list of GMs and you have to say which one you would kill, which one you would fuck, and which one you would marry. Here's the list: Erbes, Marty, CC, GAME, Heatflash, and Insane. Go!
This reminds me of my BK Goes Hard 12th question. Every time I would ask about a wing man or something like that. LOL it was cool. ANYWAY....
Def fuck my good friend Erbes. We had a great time at ESPN Zone and I feel like it would just be plain nasty. But as you can tell by his posting, the longevity is not there because i would probably want to cut my dick off after hanging out with him for a while lol.
Marry - After last night this is a tough one. Definitely Maniac and Insane but man oh man I can't choose. We would have such a great time eating together and playing basketball every time. Throwing the football around, watching football etc. Mainly we would dominate pick up games and take peoples money and dignity. After last night's basketball talk I had a hard on about playing with these fools.
Kill - Well this is the tough one because there are some good choices here lol. Marty I feel everyone would take a shit on his face if given the chance to but my friend Mark likes him so its like I kinda don't mind him. HF is like meh, last version I would go hard at him pretty much every article saying that we should fire his ass because he brought nothing to the league but so far he hasn't pissed me off so much so I'm like I'll back off for a bit lol. CC takes the cake though, I'd kill him. This pretty much comes down to the fact that he try to pull a fast one on me with the Parish trade last version and I've never forgiven him. No more giving him my seconds and also have you seen this?

I mean pretty scary stuff. Hopefully one day we can reconcile sooner rather than later but for now i'd still kill him 9 out 10 time every time.
*NOTE: I didn't mention you Game so I thought I should say something about him lol. Nice guy I don't mind him lol seems like he likes to get freaky with the lights on but I'm not into that right now since this is bulking season so I don't have the body to do it right now. Hit me up in April next year and we can have a different story here. 50 Shades of Game am I right LOL.

7. Back to league questions. It seems like trading is at an all-time low. Give me three reasons why you think this is.
LOL do I have to? Pretty obvious to me! Creation drafts make it really hard to trade. Contracts, shitty free agents and teams have a concrete direction of where their team is going. People are not looking to trade right now but in 2 season people will start trying to get their picks back and also competing to make their CY or win a title. So yeah things will pick up soon.
8. Eventually teams who traded for two first rounders in the Creation Draft will have to trade back for the picks they gave away. Who's in the best position to do this: Pacers, Timberwolves, or Nets? Remember, Boston traded later Creation picks and an '04 to move up.
Nets for sure although I don't think they will need to. When you have Kobe you can get your picks back whenever the hell you want LOL. They are off to a slow start and if they decided to get their picks they could get an incredible package for Kobe. They will right the ship though and should be fine for years to come. The Pacers and Wolves are in the same boat. When you have a Marion or an Iverson you can get those picks back whenever you choose. All these teams should be fine though to at least make the playoffs for the next few years. I have Greeme's pick down the line though so like LOL I hope he wants it back and I get Kobe and I get a ring and I am happy
9. Do you think UOSL will ever start or was that some elaborate hoax by Ashes?
LOL I mean it has to start soon right? I know that it has supposed to start a while ago but there is a thread now about DCs and shit so yeah i think its about to get going. I pmd Ashes that I had to back down from my spot because my schedule changed with school and stuff so hopefully he got it cause he he never responded to me

10. If you could trade rosters with anyone in the league who would it be? Who has the worst looking roster at this point?
Ummmm well I love my roster because Melo and Deng are STUDS
and I'm like heyyyy love my team but if I had to trade with someone I'd probably go with the Nuggets with DH12 since he is gonna be a beast no doubt about it. Also, the Jazz have a nice duo with Amare and Smith very similar to what we have. SF / PF for them SF/SG for us. LOL. Other than them I don't really see a team. Yeah I could pick the Celtics but that would be no fun!Worst roster by far the Hornets. They have nobody on that roster lol. They drafted the biggest bust in the draft and they also took a risk on Nenad which was a complete disaster. Aar is off to a rough start for sure but so far they are 1-14 this year so they should be in great position to draft a complete stud this year. Who is their best player? lol Diop? Flores? Biedrins? LOL pass. Not worried about Aar though.
11. The rating decompression was pretty obvious when our first draft class went through TC. How do you think this will impact teams trying to tank?
Its gonna impact in the sense that it will be easier to tank LOL. Tanking teams are still tanking so nothing has changed there. I like the low ratings, it makes things a lot more interesting and gems can be found or made by Spence without you noticing them until you play them. Look at the Jazz this year, they are off to a good start and had a sick second sim. Emmett seems to be a pretty sick player! Who would have thunk it! Kwame off to a solid role player year. Not bad. It should be interesting how this keep up tho.
12. Marty seems to be posting at a rapid fire rate these days. I'm not sure this is good for the league as a whole. What's your opinion?
His posts are terrible. Most of the time they are worthless and doesn't really try. He uses his post count to say he is active but really isn't. It seems Spence is drafting studs for him though so thats cool LOL.
13. Give me a couple of suggestions that you think would improve the league? Post pads, cash system, etc. The world is your oyster, now eat it!
Faster sims! I know Spence wants to slow things down once we are done with this season but I miss the fast pace sims
simming night and day! OH the good days! For now we have to appreciate the little Sims he gives us lol nah jk he does a great job. What else... I think we could maybe have a PP thread every now and then maybe not +5 everytime but something small with posting limits? Idk I dont really care for it. I think Spence has done a great job. He likes it, I like it. 14. Out of all of your New Canaan friends, why am I your favorite?

I miss the days of the NC Clique or NC Gang Those days are long gone and now its just Aaron and I. Mark will probably come back once he gets a job and has some free time to kill. PIg is like where is he now a days LOL. Dan seems to not be coming back for a while or ever. I miss those days and I'm sure Spence misses them too. 15. I swung and miss on this question with Maniac. I'm trying again. You're from a different country. A far away land if you will. Peru I believe? Educate us on some of the cultural differences and customs, and why the USA is better.

I've been here for a while though and I have only gone back once so not a whole lot of time spent over there since I was 9. One thing I will say is that I like soccer lol I only like international soccer though not that team shit so yeah. What else? Ummmmm puss over there is good so thats good to know. Thanks Nanz!!
