2017 BBS GM Awards!
Let's take a look at the results.
MVP: Quincy Acy
Without a doubt, Acy is the best player in the league. His combination of offense, rebounding, defense, and efficiency is unmatched. He's now led the Hornets to back-to-back championships, and as long as he's on the team, they'll always be contenders.
Other players receiving votes: Marcus Smart (3), Derrick Rose (2), Andrew Bynum (1), Nikola Mirotic (1)
DPOY: Kenneth Faried
Still probably the best value player in the league. 12/12/1/4 with only 1 TO. He's a defensive monster who might finally be due for a big pay raise after next season.
Other players receiving votes: Andrew Bynum (4), Andre Drummond (1), Quincy Acy (1)
(Introducing the old dude I found when I googled James Simon.)
6MOY: James Simon
Doubt many people noticed James Simon until the FBB awards page. He put up greats numbers for SAC, 17/9/1/1 on pretty good percentages. He played starter minutes, so I doubt he'll ever be much more than what he is now, but he has a solid contract for a good sixth man.
Other players receiving votes: Nate Templeton (4), JJ Reddick (1), Alex Poythress (1), Thaddeus Young (1)
ROY: Trey Burke
In another very tight race, Burke edges out Marcus Sapp by a single vote. Burke put up 23/2/7/1 with a couple of TOs a game. I personally hate his defense and rebounds and think his value was just inflated by Skillz's mouth, but regardless he still put up pretty good numbers in his rookie year.

GMOY: aar (7)
Aar continued his success by winning another title in dominating fashion. If Acy hadn't been injured, aar's Hornets could've have legitimately won 70+ games. After running through all the toughest teams in the league, aar has begun to re-tool a bit. Will still probably be a favorite with Acy on that team.
Other GMs receiving votes: bundy (6)
Thanks to aar, greeme, skillz, trevc3, gmgreggor, donatello, andy, play, alldaygb, djmyte, marty, mustajab, and myself for voting!
