2016 BBS GM Awards!
After a brief hiatus, the GM Awards are back! Let's take a look at the results.
MVP: Cenk Akyol
Cenk Akyol is still a monster even though he's been a little forgotten since repole's inactivity, averaging 27/6/10/2 with less than 2 TOs. With ilovebball back now at the helm of the Pistons, perhaps we'll be seeing more of Akyol, seeing as he is still in his prime at 29 years old.
Other players receiving votes: Quincy Acy (2), Andrew Bynum (1), Derrick Rose (1)
DPOY: Kenneth Faried
Faried is an absolute defensive stud on an awesome contract. Averaging 11/11/2/1/4 with only 1 TO, Faried is an excellent anchor for a defense and definitely one of the best.
Other players receiving votes: Andre Drummond (2), Nerlens Noel (1), Quincy Acy (1)
(Who knew Nate Templeton also pitched a perfect game!)
6MOY: Nate Templeton
Templeton's ideal role. He's a very good super sub, averaging 13/11/5/1 with under 2 TOs. Being able to backup every position, Templeton could be a perennial 6th Man.
Other players receiving votes: Marcin Gortat (1), JJ Reddick (1), Henri Moreau (1)
ROY: Dakari Johnson
In a very close race, Dakari Johnson edges out Harrison for the ROY award. He averaged 17/11/2/4 with just 1 TO a game. Definitely a bright future for this stud big man.

GMOY: mustajab (3) and Ashes (3)
Mustajab assembled a very good team in CLE, securing the #1 seed in the very difficult Eastern Conference with a 59-23 record. Behind LeBron, JSmoove, Macvan, Lopez, and Royce "Headcase" White, the Cavaliers are still battling in the playoffs. Ashes entered his CY with a very good young core, made a few moves acquiring star Andrew Bynum and guards Michael Redd and Tyreke Evans to secure the 5th seed with a 54-28 record. The Bulls got past the defending champion Raptors before being swept by the Cavaliers.
Other GMs receiving votes: DBW (2)
Thanks to aar, greeme, skillz, trevc3, gmgreggor, kobe, ilovebball, and myself for voting!
