Wish the regular season would end so we knew who our coach was.
As long as it isnt Mike McIntyre or Phillip Fulmer i'll be OK.

He is the best we can get. Kirby Smart has already told us no, Sonny Dykes is waiting to see if other schools offer him, and Butch Jones recently told us no.
He is much, much better than the alternatives, which would Phillip Fulmer or Dirk Koetter.

Well for a year we might be relevant, we have honestly 0 to lose. The actual attendance the last two home games have been between 20-25K, about 1/3 capacity & the fans won't come back until changes are made.

If it is Petrino there will be a ridiculous buy out to protect ourselves, I think that is pretty obvious.

Let's be honest, Kentucky isn't going to be relevant in the sec east.

Let's be honest, Kentucky isn't going to be relevant in the sec east. Vandy finished with a 5-3 record in the SEC. We haven't had a winning record in the SEC since the 70's. If they can do it , so can we, just need the coach. I dont think a lot of UK fans are asking for the moon, but 7-8 wins consistently and maybe a conference title run once in a decade isn't far fetched.

And no one really respected Calipari, in fact the UK athletic administration took a chance on Cal, especially considering the investigation of Derrick Rose that was still on going when we hired him, and at the time Calipari had not yet been cleared. But UK hired him, why? Because he wins and we were desperate to get back to winning, now obviously uk football =/= uk basketballl, but enough donors and fans are desperate to at least be somewhat successful that they're willing to take a chance.

Because he was a top notch recruiter and was a beast coach at Memphis is probably the reason they hired him. When people think of Callipari they don't immediately think of the Rose problems, they mainly think of the fact that he is a great recruiter and made Memphis prominent. When people think of Petrino they think of him quitting the Falcons in the middle of the night via laminated letter in the locker room and the motorcycle accident/affair.
