his real name is golem.
that phone looks pretty sweet. i'm sorta regretting the iPhone 5 but I don't give enough of a shit about phones to switch. use to the iphone and I enjoy the interface. I'm sure the speed differences are basically all a wash at this point - I can't imagine shit being noticeably faster than what I have.

iPhones are too mainstream and iOS is pretty boring, you can't customize it nearly as much as Android. But iPhones are good for people who aren't very technologically savy

eh. Plenty of techies rock the Iphone. They just jailbreak them. Then you have the crowd that are tech savvy but simply don't give a fuck about customizing their phone

there's also people who want to go against the grain and by an android because its not an iphone. its the natural life cycle of electronics.
my brother has an android and its sweet. I've had an iPhone for almost 5 years, just don't feel like changing.

traves sounds like your stuck in the apple ecosystem. Same thing gonna happen to android users once these phone makers stop including SD card slots and start promoting cloud services. Google already got the ball rolling

not that cloud services are bad. But damn I wish this thing had a SD card slot. So funny a lot of the things I hate about the IPhone are actually present in this phone but for 375 shipped I can't complain

For 375 I assume you got the 16GB, thats usually more than enough for most people I'd say
Android isn't nearly as user friendly as iOS, someone can pick up an iPhone and get the gist of it pretty quickly. Android takes some time, but once you get used to it its hard to go back to iOS imo. Widgets are amazing.

tbh I just don't give enough of a shit about my phone. most of what I do on it is text and check twitter. when I buy my next laptop, or a SSD, I'll do a lot more research and make a fully informed decision.

As much as I hate Apple I think I'm gonna get a MacBook Pro or Air pretty soon, I'm excited to move away from windows and try something new

I legitimately don't like macs I hate when I use my roommates for any reason. I do envy the battery life though. getting hours on hours would be amazing. I'm plugged in always.

not to mention if I want top end hardware in a mac I'm probably paying over 2g's. no thanks. you're lucky if you can even get 10% off a mac.
