As for google play, I think the app selection is pretty good. Is it as big as the App Store? No but more apps isn't a big enough reason to switch to boring iOS google play store UI is awful....Apple's app store is much better organized than Google play. Google play app store is not put together well. Organization is a pet peeve of mine. I probably check Google Play store on both of my phones once or twice a month and thats when I'm looking for a specific app.

After looking into all the phones, I feel like the One is the best phone out of the bunch The rumors of the Nexus 5 and Motorola X line has got me excited though. I like HTC. They are probably the best in terms of build quality and hardware but my biggest problem with them is Sense. It is nice and all but very bloated causing updates to take a long time if they ever do come (see Inspire/Desire HD/etc). Given how a lot of the newer AT&T phones have locked bootloaders making custom ROMs difficult, idk if I really want to go the HTC route. Probably will get the One if it releases before the Xperia ZL, just not really all that sure on HTC. Sony/Samsung on the other hand both have a great reputation in terms of updates (at least based on their high end devices over the past two years) as well as great custom ROM support by independent developers. Nexus 5 will be nice but it probably won't be out until the end of the year while my upgrade is available now. If the Nexus 4 had all the AT&T LTE bands, I probably would get it. As for Motorola X, I am not willing to give Moto any more money after the way in which they abandoned the Atrix on Gingerbread despite promising an ICS update a year prior to scrapping it. Especially a Motorola phone which uses a Nvdia chip. Just can't justify going that route (again). Sense 5 looks pretty nice though especially with that new flipboard type home page they got. I don't think the Nexus 5 is coming out until October so yeah, it's still a long time away. And Motorola is owned by Google now, so I'm sure they'll get Key Lime Pie way before Samsung, HTC, etc.

I will likely start looking for a new phone sometime soon, or if something jumps out to me.
I've had a motorola for around 7 years (two different razrs for 5 years, my Atrix for the past 2). My parents both have galaxies (mom has a s2, dad an s3). Though the s4 does interest me and it's not like motorola is really concerned with putting out a new phone anytime soon (for at&t)).
My fiance kept saying I would get the note, but not really confident about a hpone that is that large.
I don't use it for much. Surfing the internet, the occassional game, checking email, ect.

I like it. Feels as fast/smooth as an iPhone but more customizable. App market is lacking but all the essentials are there. Expecting it to improve as Windows 8 starts becoming more commonly used. Plus it is difficult to rival the quality of Nokia.
Now I got a WP8 phone to get access to the cool features of this OS An iPad to get access to the great iOS apps And an Atrix MP3 player for Android features/apps. Best of all worlds.
