Andy = Blue
Nanz = Red
MVP: Tim Duncan
I'm sure some will disagree but look at the stats. Almost 28.6 ppg (8th in the league), 14.8 rpg (1st in the league by far) on 50% shooting from the field while adding 2.8 bpg (7th in the league). The 2 time Playoff MVP, 2 time MVP and 2 time DPOY doesn't appear to be slowing down at all and I can definitly see him adding more tally's to those stats this season.
Runner Up: Kobe Bryant
Leads the league by 5 ppg (at 37.7 ppg) and is the 2nd best shooter in the league (53% from the field). He's also 7th in the league at steals (2.4). Kobe is the main piece in the Bulls current run (15-1 in the last 2 sims). It's definitely a tight race between both men and you really can't go wrong with either.
MVP: Kobe Bryant
Still a lot of basketball to be played but to be honest I'm tired of Timmy winning this so lets change that up LOL. I'll go Kobe without a doubt. Best scorer in the league and a sick defender with 2.4 steals. His TOs are down this year to around 3.3 which is pretty good since he has been way worse. 54% from the field is reidiculous for a guard and hes got the bulls as the second seed in the east! Give me Kobe no doubt.
Runner Up: Dirk Nowitzki
Again i could go Timmy here but like i said hes not in my top 2 because i want some change! Runner up Ill go with someone who has been on the trade block, Big Dirk ! Doing 33 points with 8 rebounds is nasty. His %s are good across the board and hes got the Nuggets sitting pretty out west. He doesn't turn the ball over a whole a lot and gets 2 steals+blocks. He has gotten some MVP love before so lets give him some more!
Rookie Of The Year: Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant is 4th in the league at scoring (30.2 ppg). At one point, he was 2nd averaging over 32 ppg. Yes folks, this is a rookie. His shooting percentages are also sick (50% from the field, 83% from the field and 45% from 3). He adds 6 rpg, 1 stl and 1 blk per game as well. Who doesn't love KD? Apparently FBB. The most interesting thing about all of this is that Durant hasn't won one single rookie of the month award. Is this a show of things to come or just FBB fuckery?
Runner Up: Al Horford
To me, it's a far closer race between 2nd and 3rd then 1st and 2nd but I digress. Horford is averaging 20 and 9 in under 30 mpg and finally hit that 1 bpg that CC has desperately wanted. He's shooting the ball decently (44%) though admittedly I would want way better shooting than that, not all can be Kevin Durant like. Only 1 tpg is nice as well.
Rookie Of The Year: Kevin Durant
This is just hard to disagree with here LOL. I would try to for the sake of the article but come on... i just can't/ 30 points a game for a rookie? jsut nasty. His %s like you said are just nuts 50% from the field, 83% from the field and 45% from 3. His D should develop just fine and he is gonna be a fucking stud. Somehow he has the Pistons with the second worst record but Reople dont mind! LOL Only knock to his game? Ummmm he doesn't get any assits? lol who gives a fuck.
Runner Up: Al Horford
Yeah I gotta agree with you here as well. Horford seems like the real deal for sure. 20 and 9 is pretty damn nasty for a rookie big. Marc Gasol is also having a good year but he is just worse than Horford at everything across the board. The rookie pgs all have TO issues thus far so we'll have to wait and see. I would have picked wright from the Lakers but his numbers dont look too good because he hasn't been in the line up long but this man gets 2+ blocks every damn game with 1+ steals. Fucking awesome. Anyway Horford it is!
6MOTY: Brandon Roy
18 ppg, 4 rpg, 5 apg shooting 49% from the field and only 1.4 tpg in under 28 mpg. Sick. He's better then a lot of starting 2's out there. If he doesn't win it, there is something seriously wrong with FBB. If it wasn't for Dirk/Marion, he would easily be starting. I expect him to be starting next season. His numbers should definitly be even sicker.
Runner Up: Who gives a flying fuck?
Seriously, who's a damn 6th man? With skillz trading with every team in the league, I can't keep up. I'm going with JRich (if he never started) or Haslem (if he never started). Most annoying award to keep up with IMO.
6MOTY: Brandon Roy
Agree 100% because well i don;t know who else i would give this to LOL. Who the fuck cares about 6th man of the year? I dont even know! Anyway, i think broph should move Roy to PG and take the hit! Why not! I know he has thought about it but man i think he would be so sick. His numbers are awesome across the board and seems like such a fun player to have. Roy for sure.
Runner Up: Brandan Wright
UMMMM who gives a fuck LOL. I'm gonna go with Wright from the Lake show lol he was on the bench most of the year for us so why not. Solid % from the FT line which is hot. Gets blocks and steals on the REG. 45% from the field which is hot not really but good enough. 6 rebounds a game and under .5 tos so hot. Yup i'll go with him.
DPOY: Tim Duncan
TIMMY! As I said before, I can see him adding to those tally's I stated earlier and well, here it is again. 1st, by far, in rebounds, 7th in blocks per game and chips in an additional 1.4 spg. He'll be the winner without a duubt IMO
Runner Up: Tyson Chandler
May be Knicks bias here (real life obviously) but I think he's slowly closing the gap. Leads the league with 3.2 bpg and is 4th with 12.2 rpg while adding almost 1 spg.
DPOTY: Tyson Chandler
Tyson Chandler baby! Best shot blocker in the league with 3.2 blocks! he gets almost 1 steal a game and he gets 12+ rebounds. I think the margin between timmy and chandler in rebounds will be less by the time the season ends and Tyson will be the DPOY. Plus, why give it to Timmy AGAIN lol am i right?
Runner Up: Tim Duncan
I mean I have to go with Timmy here i guess LOL I woudl go with my main man Bogut who does 3+ blocks a game but his rebounds are too low. Timmy is the best rebounder in the league and like you said his blocks and steals are sweet. Runner up this year! sorry TIM!
GM of the year: Ashes
Obviously it started last season with Kobe but his recent additions of Jose Barea and Cheikh Samb have pushed this team into the 2nd seed of the extremely tough Eastern Conference. If the Bulls are able to maintain this then Ashes should be the runaway winner. It's not able how many moves you make, it's about results and the results show that ashes has done the best and has improved the most from last season. A first time playoff showing for the Bulls as well? What else could you want?
Runner Up: Greeme
Not in love with the Nets but they are winning and they definitely have a good amount of talent. After treating GAME like a red headed step child, he acquired the talented Tyson Chandler and got a very nice back up in the underrated Udonis Haslem. He also made a silent but solid pick up in Sean Williams. I expect better from all the talent they supposedly have.
GM Of The Year: Greeme
I'll go Greeme here. The trades he made this year are just ridiculous. He raped sooo many GMs in the process and now finds himself with a sick young team. TC Monta and CP3? I mean fuck lol is there a better trio you would like to have? His team also has some nice depth with Haslem and Anderson. Currently 3rd out west, the nets are making a push this year but they will certainly be making some noise for years to come with this damn core. Good rapes by greeme left and right.
Runner Up: Ashes
Can i give this to repole? LOL best move by far getting Durant and now has the second worst record in the league! He is a bout to draft another stud to go with Darko AND Durant LOL Nasty. But yeah this has to go to a winner i assume so lol lets give it to Ashes. His trade for Kobe was big time and now he is second in the eastern conference. If the Bulls can finish second in the east, it is gonna be hard to ignore Ashes as GMOY for sure but i dont think they will end up there. Other than Kobe and Josh the team is nothing great but man Kobe is so damn good lol.
BBS Eastern Conference Champs: Boston Celtics
MVP and DPOY? One of the best centers in the league still? One of the best PG's in the league? Last year's champs may have dipped a bit but they are still the best team in the league until further notice. I believe, in 6 games, they take down...
Runner up: Indiana Pacers
...The Pacers. Why? Why not I say. The East is extremely open and the Pacers don't lack talent. They really need to make a move for some rebounding, however. Still, for one last run before deciding to rebuild (which I believe Erbes wants to do), going down to Boston again is nothing to look down on.
BBS Western Conference Champs: Denver Nuggets
The finals that have been projected for the last 2 seasons happens. The Nuggets core of Dirk/Marion/Roy is easily one of the best in the league. The front court is solid enough and Lue, who gets no real love, just does what he's supposed to out there. Really don't see anyone knocking them out of the playoffs in the West this season but I'm sure this was said last season as well. In 5 games, they will beat...
Runner Up: Los Angeles Lakers.
They are on a roll now since they benched Curry and Aussie Power has definitely given the Lakers some much needed defense. Brandan Wright has been a shot blocking machine since getting the starting nod and Melo's numbers are slowly on the rise. All that said, I don't believe they have enough to beat the highly powerful Nuggets but getting to this step is huge for LA.
BBS Champions: Boston Celtics
The Celtics have been a bit up and down this season (currently up) but the playoffs is what matters and this is where they shine. Match up wise, the Nuggets can definitely give them a good fight and I expect a 7 game series but I believe Duncan will do what he does best at the end. Nash will also be to much for Lue to handle. DBW and Broph have had a prior rivalry in the last BBS when it came down to the playoffs and this is just another chapter for them.
Finals MVP: Tim Duncan
Again. What else can I say about him? He's a beast. Face of BBS right now and he'll be that for a while.
BBS Eastern Conference Champs: Boston Celtics
Yup without a doubt it is the Boston Celtics. Best team out East even though FBB is not giving them a ton of love this year. Shaq and Timmy haven't lost a step and they will dominate any that matches up with them. Oh and nash is getting 24 point per game this year? LOL thats nice i guess. Not sure where they are playing Bell but he also has a nice stat line for sure. Great team. Eastern conference champs no doubt.
Runner Up; Chicago Bulls
Ummm no way i pick Erbes here LOLZ JK i was gonna pick them but man i'll go with someone else. Give me the Bulls! Kobe is abeast and we have seem him take the Nets deep in a series with the Celtics so why not! If the Bulls end up in second place they'll have home court up to thsi point and they are 12-4 at home so far and that is pretty good for sure. Bulls vs Celtics match up! I love it!
BBS Western Conference Champs
LA Lakers baby!!! We are ready to make some noise! We have been on hot streak since putting Wright as out PF and we are not gonna stop! Hughes is off to a slow start but i really think he is about to step it up big time. Deron seems to be getting his scoring up across the board and i love that. Deron Hughes and Melo is a pretty awesome trio and with Bogut getting 3+ blocks a game... that is a good recipe Totally a homer pick but im not too far off so lets go with it! LOL
Runner Up: Denver Nuggets
Denver Nuggets are the runners up here! Marion and Dirk are unstoppable so thats cool. Anyway, this team will probably go to the finals tho so its alright. Roy is sick of the bench and if Big Ben can stay healthy they should be a tough match up to for anyone. Lue is a tough sell tho and i think the Lakers Deron Williams could go off in a 7 game series. Should be a tough match up for anyone but the Lakers with Deron here have the edge
BBS Champions: Boston Celtics
What a match up we have here! Lakers vs Celtics! What a showdown. Nash vs Deron is a fun match up to watch for sure. Shaq on Bogut should be interesting. Melo and Hughes would need to have huge series for us to have a fighting chance but at the end of the day the Celtics are just too good lol. Timmy is a beast and theres nothing the Lakers can do about that. In the regular season this match up has gone to the Celtics every time by a lot so i dont see it changing Celtics are the champs sad day in LA.
Finals MVP: Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan without a doubt. Wright in the finals against him? LOL have fun kissing that ring timmy LOL what a disaster. How good is this fucking guy.
All-League First Team:
C: Shaquille O'Neal
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: LeBron James
SG: Kobe Bryant
PG: Steve Nash
Simply the best of the best. The only real questionable one was at PG. It was either between Nash or Baron Davis. Nash, somehow, won MVP last season but was not on the 1st team. I expect Baron again will win first team honors.
All-League First Rookie Team
C: Al Horford
PF: Carl Landry
SF: Kevin Durant
SG: Aaron Afflalo
PG: Ramon Sessions
Obviouisly a bit tougher then the overall first team but there were some fairly obvious picks (Horford and Durant). Landry might have obvious as well to be honest. Not a house hold name but he's averaging some very solid numbers (18.6 ppg, 8.5 rpg on 47% from the field). The back court positions were definitely difficult to pick. Unless I missed someone, there are no rookie 2 guards getting legit playing time. Aaron is getting 17 mpg which I believe is the most out of the rookie guards. The PG position was filled with turnover whores. Sessions is averaging 3.5 tpg. Aaron Brooks is doing 3.7, which is 2nd in the league and Mike Conley is tied for the lead with 3.8 tpg. Sessions was picked, mostly, due to his assist numbers which FBB obviously loves.
All-League First Team:
C: Shaquille O'Neal
PF: Tim Duncan
SF: Dirk Nowitzki
SG: Kobe Bryant
PG: Steve Nash
No question about the big two up front. Shaq hasn't slowed down at all while Yao seems to be having sort of a down year scoring wise. Timmy is Timmy so ya. Dirk is my Runner up MVP so lets put him ahead of Lebron for now though next year that should be different (magic need at at least make the playoffs!). Kobe is my MVP so no question there. Nash at the point.... tried to have a different point guard but man nobody is there right now. His points are the highest specially with those %s and with 2 steals. Would have gone maybe Baron but meh Nash has to be the right call.
All-League First Rookie Team
C: Al Horford
PF: Carl Landry
SF: Kevin Durant
SG: Rodney Stuckey
PG: Aaron Brooks
Agree with you there. KD and Horford are no doubters right here. Best players to come out of the draft and no doubt first team all rookies. At PF I agree and i'm shocked at how good Landry is when i looked him up. I had no idea he was having such a sick season. 18 and 18 on good %s is awesome. What a steal this guys seems to have been. No blocks but man he is a solid player without a doubt. Wirght could have also gone here but i moved him to SF At the 2 i can't take affalo because he blows LOL Stuckey is the guy here! Awesome %s for a rookie with 48% from the field 88% from the line and 40% from 3. Not sure why the Hawks are not starting him because he is alot better than Marco Belinelli lol. At the point I'm going with Aaron Brooks. All these rookie point guards shit the bed this year LOL brooks %s are pretty sweet and he gets some steals. All of the guys mentioned turn it over so much so yeah I'll go with Brooks tho Conley will be the best one out of this class
Nanz = Red
MVP: Tim Duncan
I'm sure some will disagree but look at the stats. Almost 28.6 ppg (8th in the league), 14.8 rpg (1st in the league by far) on 50% shooting from the field while adding 2.8 bpg (7th in the league).
