Jiggy I was a 1/2 reg at UB Oh, I didn't play online, just in like...backrooms and other "non-sanctioned" venues. Had a shit-ton of fun and made some nice cash. Saw a dude named Mike the Crow get pistol-whipped by a 55 year-old lesbian for allegedly trying to get funny at the table. Kid had multiple tattoos of Brandon Lee, so even if he didn't try to signal his friend to lay down, he had it coming. I tried online poker once, but I hated it. I need to see who I'm playing against. Well yeah I prefer live as well. I got staked going to tunica because it was so easy to make money live 1/2 at Gold Strike. The inside joke at school was TTM (Taking Tourists Money). A lot of these grinders who play online can't do shit live because of tracking software. |

I play extremely tight and I get regs who 3-4 bet me in early levels because of the tracking shit. It fucking blows if you aren't catching shit which happens to me regularly in big online tournaments.

Playing live though at 1-2 is the easiest money a person can make IMHO if they have an online background.

lol pig plays like in the little kids poker while jiggy plays in that hardcore undeground shit poker don't get the wrong impression, i'm not a hardass at all. i'm big, and i can fight, but i never try to play that game. i was there for money and nothing else. truth is: i think online poker is way harder and i sucked at it for all of the reasons that pig has pointed out. i'm not a natural card shark, just good at reading people. |

can't stand online poker compared to actually sitting down with people. Entirely different game.
Knew someone my freshmen year who'd made around 50k playing online poker, but was an entirely mediocre player in person.
