1. You are currently the 5th seed with a 11-12 record. Is this where you thought your team would be at this point? What's the plan for the rest of the season?
Honestly, I'm surprised at our position right now considering how much youth we have entering this season. But when you look at the west, it's pretty weak from the bottom. There are a lot of teams tanking this year than the previous year. Then you look at our roster we have two top #3's picks in rondo and horford...so I guess it's safe to say it would be difficult to tank with two young studs and that's where we are atm. Plus we drafted a lot of young guys for depth and if you at the past, depth does find ways to win in this league. As for my plan this season, we are gonna ride it out with our youth and hopefully avoid our CY next season. lol. The west is bad right now so might as well sneak in the playoffs, right? lol. Then after this season, we are gonna evaluate our team and hopefully get lucky in FA. Maybe make some trades if the right deal is out there. We are only looking to improve this team going forward.
2. Obviously it isn't all that likely now but let's say you lose hard and end up with the top pick and DRose. What happens then? Does Rondo go or does DRose go?
Interesting question...ratings arent out for Rose yet but lets say it's similar to rondo's... I would probably deal rose for another stud at a different position...plus it would be easier to deal a fresh 4 year contract than a 3 year... GM's would be salivating at the thought of trading for a young stud pg in Rose fresh out of the box... I also like Rondo more than Rose IRL and I mentioned before I would trade steph curry for rondo IRL lol... anyways, both are great PG's but Rondo is just filthy and I think he'll be a better defender and overall player when it's all said and done.
3. Barbosa trade, what are your thoughts? Should GAME have just stood still or did something else?
LOL that trade was horrific...probably on par with my camby for nash trade or even worse... GAME traded 4 1sts + Dudley for a overpaid barbosa... I think it was a panic move for GAME considering he didn't own his pick this season... that trade was only going to make his team more mediocre than it was...So definitely GAME should have stood still or be patient and smart enough to look for better deals... Someone mentioned he could've dealt gasol for chandler... Or he should've taken Jarrett Jack for two futures...but instead he overpays for a overpaid PG...I bet Greeme jizzed his pants when GAME accepted his offer.
4. Speaking of GAME, what are your thoughts on him? Does he deserve all the hate he gets?
GAME should've shut his mouth after he was criticized for his trade... ofcourse others are gonna hate on him if he's talking back to them... There has been a lot of drama over the last 24 hours and this led to his firing this morning... Does he deserve the hate? I'd say yes because he and svedda were making others pissed off...Good riddance these guys are gone now... BBS is now cancer free.
5. Speaking of trades, Durant got traded obviously. Is there anything that can make that trade seem ok at least? What would you have done had you landed KD?
Pig should have kept Durant the moment he won the lotto...Hell, I would have kept him had I drafted him... The only thing I find ok with that trade is Bynum but him alone isnt worth durant... it was pretty obvious durant was gonna explode in this version....Thad Young was all upside... spence even said he wouldn't be able to contribute in a couple years... that was a RED flag...Unless Bynum EXPLODES the trade is looking bad right now....Repole now has the next Dirk to build around in the next decade.
6. The Suns were sub par until moving KG to SF. You cool with this? Does anyone have a point in being annoyed by this?
I'm cool with it... I started Big Z at small forward so I have nothing to complain about lol...I understand why others feel it's cheesy though and they have the right to feel that way because not everyone has a stud PF with A- boards playing at SF but what can you do.. guys like kg doesn't come around too often...atleast spence did cut down on many C-PF's playing SF so that's a good thing.
7. The Sonics are struggling and the Wizards finally had a good sim and are in the playoff mix. Still, be a good GM and help em out. What should they do?
Marty will be fine... he's in his cy and just needs to make a trade or two to make the playoffs or win 42...the last two seeds are up for grabs... hopefully the hurricane clears up soon so marty can focus on his team when he has power... As for Washington, I think Jah will be fine. He just needs to continue to add talent to their team and survive this season...but right below them are Indiana and Orlando fighting for a playoff spot...so who knows what will happen in the end... Ill say this, both Indy and Orlando will get the 7th-8th seed while Washington wins 42 but just miss the playoffs.
8. CY teams aren't alone in needing help. I'm going to name 3 struggling teams. What would you do if you GM'd them:
Orlando Magic - I would find a PF upgrade next to Dally...I don't see Gooden good enough to contend against the shaq-duncans...a legit PF who can defend rebound will make us better.
Toronto Raptors - same as orlando's situation but we need two position needs...a PF and a SF... I would play Arenas at PG (work on his handles obviously) move RIP back to his natural position at SG... get rid of butlers contract...we don't have our pick this season but if we're gonna be good, we have to trade our futures for upgrades at this positions we listed...don't want to be mediocre and gift another team a lotto pick.
LA Lakers - We need to move curry to the bench and find another starting big next to Bogut...same as orlando's situation, we need a PF next to Bogut...we'll look good if we can make that happen.
9. Name 5 overrated teams and 5 underrated/under the radar teams
5 overated (in no order):
Utah Jazz - traded amare for z and boozers contract...utah looked very good last season but right now it seems like they are stepping back a little and losing games they should win...plus it seems like maniac has been idle for awhile.
Indiana Pacers - struggling atm...as good as they look, won't get through boston..
Cleveland Cavs - only have brand marbs...winning right now but won't win anything in the end...brand-marbs being wasted...another 2nd round exit waiting to happen.
LA Clippers - wade needs better talent around him...otherwise he'll be wasted in LA.
NJ Nets - a trio of chandler, cp3, and monta look very good...but don't see them going too far... i liked their chances when they had kobe and francis together.
5 underated (in no order):
NY Knicks - with a legit big upgrade they'll be very good. go get one andy...i see them condending for the #1 spot if they had a big to match up with shaq or td.
LA Lakers - struggling because of eddy curry hogging the paint... sit him down and find a PF!
Houston Rockets - they should be running the west...it might be only me but no one really talks about their squad...ivey is prolly the most underated PG in the league...if manu can find his shot houston will be dangerous.
Seattle Sonics - like i said earlier, a trade or two could jump start the sonics to becoming a contender out west...obviously kirk is out but marty should look for a temporary replacement for now and also shake up his roster a bit...he has assets in humphries and gortat...those two alone, despite what others think, should bring in better upgrades if marty is creative enough to make a big splash.
Washington Wizards - the second cy team that could make some noise out east if they continue to add talent to their team.
10. In a recent article, greeme said he would take Rondo for this season but CP3 for the future. Agree? Also, in the grand scheme, where does Rondo rank?
I can agree with that... Rondo is more BBS ready that CP3 is right now...I kinda see why he picks CP3 for the future though... his game doesn't look fully develop yet unlike Rondo's...Greeme is hoping Paul can get to A- defense and A- inside like Rondo...If I had to rank the best PG's in the league with Rondo, I would rank him #2 after Nash...but eventually Rondo will become the best PG in the league when it's all said and done. Yee.
11. Are the Celtics coming out of the East? Who will be there biggest competition?
Celtics are gonna win the championship again... they added more depth this season than the previous....their biggest competition I would say are the orlando magic (if healthy and have a better frontcourt to match bostons) , the knicks (if they had a better frontcourt as well)...and out west Denver, Houston, or Phoenix... they have the bigs to match up with Boston if they see them in the finals.
12. Despite losing to the Rockets, the Nuggets were considered the favorites all of last season to come out of the West. Will it happen this year? Who is there biggest competition?
I see Phoenix coming out west this year... sliding KG to SF just made their team better... it's like adding another star to their team...same effect... Pretty obvious to me that the biggest competition in the west are phoenix, denver, and houston.
13. East team vs West team. Who's taking it all? Hell, give me the finals MVP as well.

Boston in 4 or 5 whoever they play. MVP Duncan.
14. Let's stay with the future for a second. Hornets just traded Booz/Z for Amare. Who does this benefit the most?
I like this trade for the Hornets...they added a young talented big to build around with in the future...as for utah, the trade makes sense for them considering they needed to tweak their roster on top...but not a fan of boozer at all... that contract is gonna hurt them in the long run...luckily he still has rc's ac's left...hopefully maniac makes his deal worth it while they contend...championship contenders? i'd say not yet.. just don't see it happening.. in the end, the trade benefits new orleans more going forward...resign amare, tank, create cap, and rebuild that way. i like that direction.
15. Let's keep things more interesting. Greeme said his "best of the best" team is: Shaq/Duncan/LBJ/Kobe/Nash. Removing those players, who's the second team "best of the best"?

Love the drafts so far...low ratings...consensus #1 picks turn into studs like they should.. good mid-round role players...1 or 2 2nd round studs... spence has done an amazing job in this version. Don't change a thing spenny!

Don't really care about politics tbh. Whoever wins, wins.
18. How are the Warriors looking thus far?
Looking pretty good... excited for tonight vs phoenix... Curry is expected to play, Barnes is our starting SF, and Bogut might play tonight. I'm more excited about our bench this season... no one really talks about our bench but we are gonna tear other teams up with our 2nd unit...especially if other teams have their 2nd unit out there as well...landry is just deadly in the post, jack can run a team, rush is a 3 pt threat, and festus is gonna be huge for us this season...RJ and Jenkins can contribute as well if their numbers are called. As for Biedrins, I hate to say this but I hope he's healthy enough to play tonight...he's our only backup c and we just need a body out there to defend and rebound... that is all we are asking for.
19. I'm guessing your football team is the 49ers. They taking is this year?
I know you guys are gonna LOL at me for talking about the 49ers but yeah I like them... 6-2 record on top. Defense is just nasty... planning to go to the game on december 9th with my sister and broski.

No I'm not. I watch the giants but do not talk about them on the forum. Do I have to share everything I like on here? No...I keep some things to myself. I like to talk more about the warriors here because well basketball is my #1 sport... I would talk about the giants, niners but I don't want to on this particular forum. I post on other forums on the net and on FB... as for the giants celebration, it was EPIC! Me, my sis, and a friend were in the middle in the crowd...i didn't realize there was THAT much people when I watched the recap on tv when the camera looked over city hall... just an amazing night.
