1.) Do you feel any added pressure taking over a team that used to be GMed by Spence?
Not at all, no disrespect to Spencer but he hasn't always been the greatest of GMs lol. He'll tell you too that he gets bored way to easily(much more than I do and that's bad) and will just trade and go in complete opposite directions 3 or 4 different times in one season. Skillz does it too, except the only difference is when Skillz does it it actually works out for him more times than not haha. Na, but yeah I've "known" Spencer a ridiculously amount of long time so it's not like I need to prove anything to him or am worried about anything. Part of the reason I stepped up as commish is because I knew all the work he had put into this for years and the work he put in so all of us could have some cheap free fun I felt that I owed him that much to help carry on a league. Glad John was able to step up tho simming is a tough job.
2.) You look to have a lot of young talent, what are your plans for the future? And what were your expectations coming into the season and are you disappointed or excited about how your team has started the season?
My plan is basically to build around Jamaal Franklin, people doubted me when I traded away John Wall in a trade for him but he's the real deal. My expectations for this season was to be a legitimate playoff team with some nice young pieces but unfortunately my TC changes weren't made and I think that affected the progress of certain guys like Mason Smith whom I thought had very high potential based on notes but seemed to not progress as much as he hoped. Dustin Mcclure was also a horrible bust not sure what idiot drafted him anyway... injuries have killed me obviously Franklin missing time, Hamilton done for the year, Monroe done for 20+days really is affecting any playoff hopes I may have had this season oh well. I probably won't do anything major in terms of trades this season but we'll see.
Can Jamaal Franklin be a centerpiece to a championship team?
3) Selby is turning the ball over at an alarming rate, do you intend to keep him at PG?
Eh, do I really have another choice at PG outside of Selby? I know he turns the ball over alot but there aren't to many options out there that I can realistically trade for anyways without considerably overpaying. Might as well keep him there, tank, get a top pick perhaps potentially a very good low-to PG will be available in the draft and then I can move Selby to SG where yeah he probably would be able to do the most damage. I think for the state the team is in now I might as well keep all my tanking pieces where thye are at now. No need to try to put guys in positions where thye might be able to excel more at in and win unnecessary amount of games.
4.) How does being a GM compare to being the commish/simmer?
Well, it's not comparable at all they're two different types of animals. Anyone who says they don't have time to be a GM is a sack of lying shit really. I hate when people do that seriously GMing doesn't take more than 10-15 minutes a day if that. People who don't have time really should say "I have no interest in spending 10-15minutes a day being a GM." Now on the other handing being a commish is pretty time consuming and I didn't do draft files or any of that so I can only imagine how many hours Spencer put into being a commish because really there was no way I would have both the time and patience to do everything he did. Hopefully when I get motivated again I can come back and help out John because really one person doing everything is a quick way of burning out.
5.) You recently made a trip to SD, what made SD or Cali in general so great that you want to move out here?
Honestly, just the lifestyle the lifestyle reminds me so much of Spain where everybody is friendly and seems pretty carefree. I love the weather the fact that it's the type of weather where you just want to go out and go for walks with absolutely no destination it sounds amazing. Another positive is that San Diego etc all have ports and the type of industry I work in which is freight forwarding/customs brokerage etc. The reason I've never moved to Spain is because the unemployment rate for people under 30 is 55%,yes that's not wrong 55% unemployment for people aged under 30 it's insane. Spain would always be my #1 choice, in terms of dream destinations for living but realistically there is no chance I can go to Spain and be successful in a career there with the current state of the company.
San Diego just seems to be to good of a thing to pass up. I'm 26 going on 27, I'm single don't have my own home don't have any legitimate bills outside of paying off my car that is currently in the dealership for over a month(filing a lemon law suit meh) I don't want to be married in my 30s with kids and be like "What if I had moved to California?"
What's the worst that can happen, I go to California am miserable then I move back to Jersey? I'm still young enough to where if that happens I can bounce back on it. I might not have the degrees but I certainly do have the job experience. Plenty of BBS guys live in California(yourself included right?) some that I've known for lot's of years with this sim league stuff (Manas, Galo, Spencer, GAME, Styro, I'm sure there are others) so it's not like I'd be moving to a place where I don't know anyone and Galo's been pretty cool with giving me advice and stuff already. Sucks Spencer lives all the way up in California but both are cool down to earth guys so I'm sure if I ever needed something they'd help me out with advice.
West side!!!!!
6.) Kevin Ware had a nasty leg injury, what are your thoughts on that whole ordeal?
How the fuck does someone have an injury like that on a play like that? He was untouched and shit, when that bone comes out it's crazy you see a big white spec on his leg lol it's nuts. I think you need to freeze the video around 2:01.
7.) How surprised would you be if we found out in the future that Brittney Griner was really a man?
I'd still hit it.
That has to be a dude right?
8.) Now that the Final 4 is set, who is your pick to win the NCAA Championship?
Michigan because I liked them when they had Jalen Rose, Chris Webber, Juwan Howard and those two other guys no one really cares about anymore!
9.) What was your reaction when the Bulls ended the Heats 27 game winning streak?
Honestly? Who cares, lol. The Heat won't make the finals, they'll be swept by the Knicks, yeeee!
10.) Shakira, Katy Perry, Rihanna. Fuck one, marry one, kill one.
Fuck this is a fucked up queston you know? I'd kill Shakira because she's married and has a kid so she's basically off limits plus her husband is a douchebage who plays for Barcelona so fuck that bitch. I'd fuck the shit out of Rihanna even though her pussy is probably stank as hell that slut she's gotta be a nasty bitch in bed she should do porn one day. I'd marry Katy Perry because bitch is ugly without makeup so I wouldn't be to worried about people wanting to smash plus she seems like fun!
Katy Perry without makeup WTF...
