Welcome to the Dirty Dozen with Andy
Andy's boo, Lisa Ann would like to welcome you the Dirty Dozen with Andy
1- nybombers3, Talk to me about the state of the Knicks. Yao and LeBron are in their 11th years in the BBS while Wade is in his 12th. How much longer can the LeWade Ming trifecta last? Is it only until 2017 when you have your 1st round pick back?
Andy: At this point it's looking like that. Maybe even sooner, depending on when Yao retires. Obviously they are very capable players still, no doubt, but it's not working and unless things change it won't next yr either. I would love to make moves to add talent around them but it's rough when no one wants your picks. Also with there ages, it's rough out there. So, yeah, it seems as 2017 is when the trio will be broken up.
Ed's note: Personally I'm shocked Andy hasn't tore it down yet. I think LeBron and Wade are already peaking and their value will only go down from now.
Could this be the last ride for LeBron and Wade in NY?
2- 2- Recently there were rumors you were gonna break up the core and get your picks back from ellbee and the Bucks. How close were you actually to doing that and are you at some point worried you won't be able to get a decent return for James, Ming and Wade?
A: To answer the second question first, I'm not worried about getting a return for them. I may not get exactly what I want but I'll get a solid return no doubt. As for the first question, it's tough. I'd have to take a step back to really answer this. I almost did get my picks back twice but it was just not meant to be I guess. I likely would've worked something out with Alex Len and the Clippers (when play had my picks) but None never folded. He always wanted AR and quite frankly, my picks wasn't going to land him that. So, I moved on. ellbee would hit me up every other day basically about LeBron. One day he hits me up about getting my picks back and Yao. I told him I would likely do that move (Yao for picks). Mind you this was fairly late. I wake up in the morning and he got my picks. He also traded a piece a kind of liked in Whitney. He also had no expiring deals. The other issue is that he never really wanted anyone but LeBron. The last deal I got from LB was my pick/Lawson/Bennett for Bron. Yeah. Haven't spoken since. So, I guess I can say I wasn't all that close but things can still happen. Still, for now, it ain't happening. Oh and Play tried to get me to deal Bron to LB so he can get Nate. At least that's what I was told. Yeah. Just throwing shit out there for fuckery.
Ed's note: So I guess ellbee wasn't blowing smoke about almost getting LeBron. But Yao?
Yao as a Buck? He thinks not.
3- You're a well known New Yorker but a Cowboys fan. How do you feel about the Giants and will the Jets ever be able to upseat the Giants as NY's favorite NFL team?
A: As a Cowboys fan, I say fuck the Giants. It's going to be the same shit this season as last. I mean sure, they may do well in the NFC East because, well, no one has done much there but we won't win anything. We'll blow a ton of 4th Q leads again. We may make the playoffs and we'll blow it in the first round. Same ol shit, new season. The Cowboys have been far too quiet overall. It's rather depressing. It's like, do something please? Whatever.
Ed's note: I thought Andy was a die-hard Giants fan? I guess that was the running joke I got wrong
Andy's sentiments exactly.
4- 4- There's been a ton of great hip artists and groups to emerge from NY area. Who would classify as the best among Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Rakim, LL-Cool J Tribe Called Quest, Run-DMC, Wu Tang Clan, Big L, Mos Def etc. And who is your personal favorite and why? What rap song most epitomizes NY in your opinion?
A: I would have to say BIG then Nas. I've heard all of these guys and I would never diss any of them. My ipod has music from all of them so no hate towards any of em but BIG and Nas are more around my time I guess and I connect more with them. Hard to pick just one song. NY State of Mind is the most obvious but eh. There are so many great songs during that era that I won't/can't just pick one.
Ed's Note: Personally, I would have gone with Jay-Z and Empire State of Mind. I mean can you really go wrong with HOVA?
Biggie and Nas: two of NY's greatest
5- For those outside of NY, how much of a spotlight has the Brooklyn Nets taken from the Knicks if any? Outside a deep pockets Russian owner, a hip hop mogul and a fancy new arena, has the allegiance swayed any for most or is everyone mostly still a Knick fan regardless?
A: The Nets are just another tool used to kick the Knicks down whenever possible. I mean, of course some guys have turned but for the most part it's still Knicks. IMO, the Nets would have to win a title for them to really make any sort of damage to the Knicks fanbase. I won't lie, the Knicks do need it. Dolan is to content with being where he is right now to do anything he needs to. Oh and he's a moron. I don't believe the Nets are doing any real damage to the Knicks right now.
Ed's note: It's always amazed me how loyal NYers are to the Knicks even after so many years of frutality. I guess it's the appeal of having one of the most iconic arenas in the world?
The thoughts of all hating Knicks fans about their neighbor.
6- You've been one of the openly porn-watching BBS members we've probably had. Name me your current favorite pornstar right now. Also, which one would you bang if you had a chance of only one (with or without protection) and who is your all-time favorite (could be the same girl I guess).
A: Ok first thing first. I fuck no condom on a daily basis basically. Yolo. No fucks given. Whatever. If I had sex with a pornstar, I'm protecting my penis with 50 condoms. I'm not about that lifestyle. Right now, I'm liking Lisa Ann. She's been around for a while but she keeps getting better. Anabella Anderson has improved a lot to me. Less talking. More, I guess, fuck talking. Sexual talking, whatever. Either way, she's better. Ann-Marie Rios was always good for me as well. One of my personal favs is Gianna. That bitch fucks like a warrior. She takes the dick like a champion. I can always rub one out with her videos. I salute that bitch.
Ed's note: I'm giving dabs on all three chicks. All are hot as hell except Ann-Marie is a little too petite. Right now though, I'm feeling some Kiara Mia right now but my all time favorite is Olivia O'lovely. All though it's a shame she retired
Three quarters of Andy's favorite tail in the porn game
7- How pleased have you been with the play and development of your rookie Anatoly Rientizis. His offense has so far been super sup-par but his rebounding and defense has the potential to be one of the best the league has ever seen. Are you pleased where he's at right now and is he in your long term plans?
A: I love AR-15. His offense has slowly gotten better but his game is all about rebounding and D. It's not easy finding a guy like that. His turnovers are also very good, despite the low handles ratings. That was obviously a scare for me. Oh and he still has A potential? He's obviously in my long term plans. I think if I rebuild and he was the main guy around, he'd average some sick stats. He'll be here for the long term.
Ed's note: I thought Rientizis was a steal for the Knicks this past draft. I think eventually he'll be one of the top defensive/rebounding bigs in the league. Too big, too strong, too deadly.
Do you want to mess with AR-15?
8- You came closest to winning your first championship in this version of BBS last year. What do you think would be the difference of winning it all last year against Jiggy and the Kings and do you think you have enough horses and firepower to win the chip this year?
A: A PG I think. I think I'm always going to be in the running as long as I have my big 3 around. Tyler is getting better and he definitely looks good right now. I'm hoping I can improve him with this AC. AR, as I said last question, is a great player to bring off the bench. Diaz is very solid scorer off the bench as well. I still think we're capable. Just need things to fall in line for us. At this point though it's going to be rough. East is strong as hell and talent really isn't moving to the West.
Ed's note: Sergio Llull seems to be completely bashed here. By no means is he an elite PG but he is solid and consistent especially with one of the best contract values in the league and only at 26 years old.
You talking about me, Coach?
9- Who are your three favorite GMs to try to get a deal done - past or present - in the BBS?
A: Can I say none? I dunno. None for the most part is fairly easy to work with. Either I have what he wants or I don't. Tibor from NBN was easy to deal with for me as well. If I had to pick one more, SPENCER whenever I actually talked to him about deals, was pretty easy to get something done. Finding easy guys to deal with is pretty hard. I know I'm not easy to deal with either.
Ed's note: It seems both guys are pretty simple and straight forward to work with and both are clear with what they want. I don't remember a lot of Spencer and Play trades though which is weird.
The most exciting picture I could find of Play
10- Who are your three least favorite GMs to try to get a deal done - past or present - in the BBS?
A: Skillz is definitely not a favorite. His offers are always "favors" to whoever he's talking to. He does have moments where the offers are actually solid for someone else or even fair. It's rare though. greeme is kind of the same way I guess. aar I guess would be the third, although he's no where near as bad as the other 2. ellbee should be up there for some of his LeBron offers he's given me.
Ed's note: I could see Skillz and Aar being on there. Elbee takes it to another level though. Complete rape offers constantly is annoying.
Mad Skillz?
11- Are the Yankees in real trouble this year with the injury bug biting early? Should they try to get rid of A-Rod or is that almost impossible? And is another big trade inevitable?
A: Yankees were in trouble before the injuries. That team ain't shit. I feel bad for Mariano. He's coming back for another season and this is what we give him to work with? Horrible. I'm honestly not even confident in this team winning the wild card, let alone the division or a title period. I don't even want to discuss A-Rod. I can't wait till he's gone from this team. Piece of cheating shit.
Ed's note: Yeah, Yankees are in trouble. I mean that Wells deal seems desperate enough. Guess no playoffs this year because that AL East is stacked.
Could you really trust a guy with a face like this?
12- Finally, what's the deal with these shoes None owes you? Are these magic shoes? Jordans? Nikes? Converses? What's the deal? Are you ever gonna get them?
A: I'm never getting them. I think he PM's me in every league we've been about what size I wear. Yeah. It's just a pair of shoes really. No specifics. I did him a favor and he said he would get me shoes. It is what it is. I really don't care. I just like bringing it up to bug play and quite franklky, it's funny to me.
Ed's note: Andy seems low key mad about his shoes. I wonder if Play will ever pay up. I think there's a better chance of him not trolling anymore.
