GM alldaygb poses for a quick picture before our interview begins
For some of us who don't know you tell us a little bit about yourself.
Well, I think I was already asked this by DBW but for those who haven't seen that article, I guess I'll reiterate what I said in that article a little bit while still keeping it fresh for the readers who have seen that article. I'm just a 22 year old from Boston, I was always a Celtic fan(better not trade KG for no damn DeAndre Jordan, I know that.), Patriots fan(mad we played that way in the conference championship game still) and well hip hop in general. Not so much the mainstream stuff, I find myself gravitating to the underground stuff before it hits mainstream, lyrics and the beat is all I need.
Whats more important on a girl, tits or ass?
Ass, easily. I'm not sure what it is about it that makes it different than tits to be honest, but I just dont get the same feeling looking at tits as I do when I see a nice ass on a female. My mind gets to really racing when that happens.
After seeing this, it's hard to disagree with alldaygb
What are your thoughts on Lil Wayne claiming that he fucked Chris Bosh's wife?
I dont really care, Bosh is gay, Lil Wayne looks like a troll, and Bosh's wife is a known gold digger. There's nothing about this story that intrigues me. Moreso there's nothing about media outlets reporting every single little detail about a celebrities life, whether I like them or not. All I care about is good music, and watching a good game. Fuck all the other shit, I can do without it really.
How satisfied are you with your 2 draft picks this season?
Well these are the two picks I'm most worried about in my rebuild process. I really have high hopes for both of them, mostly Watford though. I'm going all in with him to be my 5th starter for the future, while hoping Gobert finds his place as a reasonably good rotational player in my scheme. I'm worried about Watford because outside bigs dont tend to pan out as well as say the typical big man, you have to really decide what you want out of the guy coming in, and hope that the rest of his game comes along. Gobert on the other hand is really going to be just a defensive/rebounding big. I would have prefered to get a shotblocker in the draft, but as far as notes are concerned there really wasn't that many to pick from.
You have a very young team, how long do you think it will be until you guys can contend for a championship?
Depending on how TC goes for me, if I have a good TC, I dont see any reason why I can't make the playoffs this season. With the progression of Jonas and Lillard, and quite possibly Watford coming out the gates strong. The east is tough though, as far as I'm concerned, I believe 2 teams opened shop this year to rebuild, and only one team is in their CY. I don't see any reason I can't sneak in their with a good TC. As far as how far we are off in being contenders, I dont think I'm that far off at all. There are a few things I can address in free agency(but I'm terrible at the free agency part of FBB), if all goes well we can be looking at 1-2 seasons if we make the playoffs. Of course if I dont make the playoffs this season, that will put pressure on me to go out and make a deal to make sure I dont fail my CY next year.
If you could start your team with any one player in BBS, who would you pick?
Anthony Davis, Broph really made the guy over powered coming right out of the draft and putting up the numbers he did. Quite possibly the most valuable piece have on any team you're starting. I think if you ask anyone that question, this will be the answer.
After winning Gold with Team USA, Anthony Davis has become the face of the Clippers
Who is the best GM in the league?
Who is the best GM? I dont know really, I haven't been here that long to make that kind of judgement. Can't say that I've really been examining GMs to the point where I know who's better than who either. I guess if I had to pick, I'll go with the guy who won the ship last season. Skillz, I dont know how he gets people to do those deals they do, but that's a whole other subject. However he does it, he put his team in the position to win every season, and that leads me to believe he has to be a fairly good GM.
If you could meet any 3 GM's in the league in real life who would they be?
I haven't really thought about this either, I guess the easy answer would be to say that I dont want to meet any of you fucks, but if I had to choose I guess I'd go with Nanz, DBW, and the third one if tough, I'll say Play. All for different reasons, what those reasons are I couldn't tell you because I dont really know. As for everyone else, we'd probably get into a conflict of some sorts and I'd end up wanting to slap the shit out of someone.
Which GM gets on your bad side the most?
I try not to indulge into too many confrontations over the internet, but some guys do get on my bad side. I would say a guy like ellbee, not because of what necessarily happened with the whole draft situation. He's just an annoying guy in general, all season last year he was trying to get Lillard from me, offered me everything he had. I said no because I didn't want anything to do with what was going to make me win, and at the time I didn't know what the draft looked like. So I didn't budge, yet he kept coming back. Got to a point where I just said no, he had nothing I wanted and that was that.
Who is your pick to win the title this season in BBS?
It's too early in the off-season for me to give you that kind of a answer this early. Though I can give you 3 teams I see contending for it. 1. being the Kings, they just traded for basically the team that won it all last season. 2. Being the Hawks, they were in the finals last year and unless the tear it down, they'll probably have a shot at being there again. 3. My wildcard team, being the Spurs they just got Bynum for pretty much nothing so that should really put them high in the ranks.
Who is the best player in the NBA?
Lebron, I think it'd be foolish to say he doesn't have the most talent out of everyone in the NBA. As far as my favorite player to watch? Kevin Durant, easily the closest to Lebron for best player though. I think he's still growing as a player, and it's almost scary to think how good he'll really be when he hits those prime years of his career. They are both scary good, just give me the humble guy any day of the week.
Will the Lakers miss the playoffs this season?
No, and I said this before the season began. Well maybe not to the extent of missing the playoffs, but I said at the beginning that the Lakers were all hype. Now it's just a given that the team is in even one of the worst spots in their season. You're talking about the only good players on that team being a starter. Kobe is older now so he can't become superman anymore and just take a team like this to the finals by himself. Dwight is hurt, not giving too much effort out there. He doesn't want to risk hurting himself even more now that he's in a contract year. Pau Gasol looks lost, he just doesn't fit anything that has to do with Mike D'Antonie. Steve Nash isn't aggressive enough, he just wants to be a pure passer, when the Lakers really need his shooting. Not to mention he's terrible at defense. Ron Artest isn't the same caliber of a defender anymore, he's old and slow now. Any quick forward can torture him all game long now, he trys to get away with dirty tricks now a days. Speaking of D'Antonie, could you have made a decision as far as coaching goes? Is this really the lakers? That bench is horrible too, and that was the main reason I said they were all hype. Look who you have coming in for Dwight, without any sort of a big man rotation, they were set up to fail. They were better off keeping Bynum.
Kobe and the Lakers better turn things around quick if they want to make a run at the playoffs
