MVP: Lebron James
LBJ didn't mince words when informed of his mvp victory "If not for that moron in Orl this would be my fifth mvp; he never knew how to get the most out of me. I should have 5 rings and 5 mvps. Glad I got out of there". LBJ was really on another level this year scoring over 29 ppg with 8 rbpg and 2.1 spg. He achieved career highs in fg% and 3ptfg%.
Other players receiving votes: Deron - 4, Bynum -2.
DPOTY: Andrew Bynum
Bynum has lived in the shadow of Kevin Durant since entering this league being known as the guy that got traded with Thad Young for KD. Bynum has taken steps to get out of KD's shadow this year. He received 2 mvp votes and ran away with the dpoty award. 4.3 bpg and 12.2 rpg were good enough for 1st in the league and 6th in the league, respectively. He also chipped in 0.9 spg.
Other players receiving votes: Tyson Chandler – 2, Ricky Rubio – 1.
6th man of the year: Kendrick Perkins
Don't know who he is but by the amount of votes he received I assume that the game gave him 6th man of the year. Oh, I wrote the same thing last year? Hmmm.
Other players receiving votes: Greg Monroe -2, Jason Terry -1.
ROTY: Anthony Davis
Tbh, he is probably not as good as Quincy Acy. Acy was a ridiculous find for aar. Broph decided to make as good a player as possible look as bad as possible. Thanks Broph. He shot an obscene 54 % and 88% form the line. He blocks and steals and is a solid rebounder. Also doesn't turn the ball over. Ugh. Davis is no slouch himself. 20/9/2.5 blks + stls as a rookie is nice. Solid %s, doesn't turn over the ball a ton. He will obviously be a star in this league. Just not so sure that he should have been roty over acy this year.
Other players receiving votes: Quincy Acy - 4.
Gmoty: Skillz.
Trader Skillz put together a 1 year special. Unlike his last few teams which looked like playoff upsets in the making this team has finals written all over it. That said his top 2 players are 70 years old combined so he probably won't have one or both by training camp.
Other gms receiving votes: Andy – 3, Spencer -3.
