1. Milwaukee Bucks - Shabazz Muhammed SG 6'6'' 223 19 B B C C+ C+ A
The Bucks almost had their picked dropped 6 spots because of the stupidity of their own GM. Luckily for the fans in Milwaukee he has stepped down and the pick will stay at #1 for whatever GM takes over. This draft doesn't have a clear cut #1 and the Bucks need talent at every position so they could go a few different ways here. Bazz looks to be the first pick to me. Great ratings already and he's only 19 so he should have a good amount of potential as well. Hopefully a good GM is hired in Milwaukee so that Bazz or whoever is drafted first isn't wasted away on a shit team for most of his career.
2. Chicago Bulls - Anthony Bennett PF 6'8'' 240 19 B+ C+ D C C+ A
The Bulls also need talent at every position so I could see them choosing 2-3 different players here and wouldn't have a problem with it. But I am a big fan of Bennett so I would go with him. Listed at PF right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if his defense was C+ at SF. B+ C+ scoring is nice and from his notes it sounds like he is going to be a great scorer. With camps and a nice TC he could be A- B scoring at 19 years old. McLemore and Smart would also be good picks here as well.
3. Philadelphia 76ers - Ben Mclemore SG 6'5'' 195 20 B C+ C C+ C- A
The 76ers are in their CY next year, so most likely this pick will be traded for talent by draft time, but right now it is in their possession. I will just give them the best player available here, which I believe is Ben McLemore. He had great notes, even mentioned he should be considered first overall so getting him at 3 is great value. With Bazz having better ratings AND being younger I think broph gave McLemore a lot of potential. So with camps and some solid TCs he should be a great starting SG in the future.
4. Golden State Warriors - Marcus Smart PG 6'4'' 200 19 B C C+ C+ C A
Warriors are another team that could go a few different directions, but I think the Warriors get who they want here. Smart is a young PG with good size and potential. Good rebounder and should get a lot of steals as well. Smart looks great really, his outside game should come around and it seems his inside scoring is already fairly high. Only thing to worry about is his handles, but I dont think they will be that bad. Maybe at fist, but TCs should fix that. And if Smart ever develops a jump shot he is going to be really good.
5. Seattle Supersonics - Cody Zeller PF 7'0'' 240 20 B C- D B B B
Like the 76ers, I could see the Sonics trading their pick for talent before the draft since they are in position to win if they add another piece or two. So ill just go with best player available here once again. And that's Cody Zeller imo. While he might not have the potential of some of the other players he is already so good that it doesn't matter. Loved his notes, he does everything well. Looks like he could do 15 and 10 with a steal and 2 blocks per game his rookie season. If whoever gets him camps him right away and he has a good TC he could be a stud. Since he doesn't have A potential he could end up falling a bit further, but I think this is where he should be drafted.
6. Los Angeles Clippers - Michael Carter-Williams PG 6'5'' 175 21 C+ C+ B+ B C- A
Clippers desperately need a PG so MCW is a good fit for them and who I see them drafting if the draft goes like this. While he may have some TOs issues at fist the rest of his game is solid. 21 but A scouted so he should have decent potential as well. Good size, good rebounder, good amount of steals. His offense is nothing special but he could be turned into a solid scorer. As long as his handles aren't to bad he should be a solid player if camped.
7. Memphis Grizzlies - Isaiah Austin C 7'1'' 225 20 B- C+ D B- B- A
Grizzlies like Oladipo a lot, but he is more of a win now player. Austin is younger and plays a more important position so that gives him the edge over Oladipo. Austin has a nice all around game and should have a lot of potential. Very good shooter for a 7 footer and an improving rebounder. Not a stats defender, but thats ok he will just have to be paired with a shot blocker. If he develops right he could be a great offensive player and his rebounding is good enough for him to blossom into a top C if he is camped right.
8. Minnesota Timberwolves - Archie Goodwin SG 6'5'' 195 18 C+ C+ C C+ C- A
Since the Twolves want to rebuild and this year is basically a freebie for them, I think they take a chance on a player who should have a lot of potential. And going by notes it looks like Archie might be the player with the most potential. Steven Adams will be a consideration here as well since he is a boom, bust type based on his potential too. Few more established players available here if the Twolves wanted to go that way, but Archie is only 18 and could/should be on the verge of B- B- scoring. So with camps he could be solid and if his potential is sky high like his notes surmise he could be really nice.
9. Washington Wizards - Victor Oladipo SG 6'5'' 210 21 C C+ C+ A+ C+ B
The Wizards already have a nice young core in tact with Jonas, Lillard and Butler so adding a piece that fits well is important for them this year especially since they have to win soon. They could go with Len, Watford or a few others, but I love Oladipo. Offense could be a little better, but I feel like it will be solid enough for a non option. And with his great defense and rebounding he makes for a great 4-5 starter almost right away really at SG if his stealing is really high.
10. Los Angeles Lakers - Alex Len C 7'1'' 255 20 C+ C- D B B B
I think the Lakers have to go with one of the bigs still on the board here. Len, Adams, or Watford. With Adams being almost to raw and Watford playing to similar a position of White I think they go with Alex Len. Who had some hype coming into the draft, but his ratings are just bleh. Notes suggest he will be a good shot blocker just never great and he should be a good rebounder too. Offense is a work in progress but is salvageable. Whoever gets him should turn him into a shot blocking and rebounding specialist though.
11. Milwaukee Bucks via Nets - Jamaal Franklin SG 6'5'' 205 21 B+ C+ C C+ B- B
Franklin is almost too talented not to be drafted in the lotto, but he has one glaring weakness, his turnovers. The Bucks can afford to take a chance on him though since they will be rebuilding for awhile. If the rest of his game explodes, the turnovers won't matter as much. Notes say he can do everything so it is a possibility, but the turnover issue will always hamper his value and why I see him falling to 12.
12. New Orleans Hornets - Christian Watford PF 6'8'' 215 21 B C+ C C+ B- B
The Hornets are trying to win so I think they'll just draft the best player available. And at this point that is Watford. Watford is extremely talented, just a bit of a tweener which could see him fall a bit. But I could definitely see him going higher than 12. With not much strength that B inside looks nice since it shouldn't be much jumping and quickness either. Good shooter as well and rebounder. Just not going to give you stats defense. Since he's so good coming out not sure he will have much potential though.
13. Toronto Raptors - Steven Adams C 7'0'' 243 19 B- C C+ C C+ A
Not sure what direction the Raptors are trying to go in, but with Adams still there I think they take a chance on him. 19 years old and A scouted his game is just really raw that's why I don't have him going higher. Never going to be a good defender, has the chance to grow into a very good offensive player though. And could be a 10 rpg guy if he develops right as well.
