ROCKETS 121, Celtics 96
First really good team. At home but a big 25 point win. And yes Nash did play (43 minutes).
Obviously the matchup to watch is Yao-Pow-Tofu vs Duncan & Shaq-Fu
Yao Ming C 36 10 20 0 0 9 10 12 2 0 2 4 9 29 Pau Gasol PF 36 12 17 0 0 3 3 9 2 4 0 3 3 27
vs
Tim Duncan PF 38 16 33 0 0 6 8 10 4 3 2 3 3 38 Shaquille O'Neal C 33 7 19 0 0 3 4 13 5 3 2 2 4 17
The big battle was intense. Duncan was a beast as he outplayed. However, Shaq-Daddy struggled as Yao had 29 pts on good shooting, 12 boards and 9 blocks (but 4 turnovers) to earn the Player of the Game honors.
Royal Ivey PG 33 5 7 1 1 1 1 5 6 2 1 1 0 12 This guy tho.

Rockets 113, TIMBERWOLVES 105
This time a road victory against GAME's tough Timberwolves.
The game was hard fought. The Timberwolves jumped out to a one point lead to end the fourth quarter. Superstar Allen Iverson had his way with weak defensive player Jamaal Mashburn. But the Rockets fought back taking a one point lead at the half. The third quarter was where the Rockets really took over the game outscoring their Western Conference foe by 7. Iverson had some boneheaded turnovers and unlikely hero in Shareef Abdur-Rahim emerged. While the Wolves were able to match the Rockets in the fourth, their effort was just not enough seeing a highly disappointing loss at the Target Center.
Notable Rockets: Shareef Abdur-Rahim SF 33 10 17 0 1 9 11 13 4 1 0 4 0 29 Turnovers kinda high but 29/13 on strong shooting is nice especially against Paul Pierce who shot 7/22.
Yao Ming C 40 7 14 0 0 3 4 9 7 2 4 1 4 17 Obviously he is a beast.
Pau Gasol PF 31 2 15 0 0 3 6 9 2 0 1 3 2 7 Weird
