Only have bronze players at this point too, trying to win that stupid fucking tournament before I move on.
Got to the finals and had EA's service die, giving me a loss for no reason. smh.

oh trust me I've had my ass handed to me plenty of times... my record in fifa ultimate team is like 22-4-28 or something like that... there was a time where I lost like 10-12 straight games until I learned the system and got better.
I finally beat the Gold tournament and .. I'm doing Seasons in FUT now I got all the way up to division 2 and I've lost every game and tied twice... i'm definitely getting relegated back to third division which sucks.
I need to get a better team it's overall 79.. the key with Fifa Ultimate team is NEVER buy gold packs outside of maybe 1 or 2 if you can afford it and then hope you get a somewhat decent player which you can either a) use or b) sell for 1,000 + coins...the key is using the auction to upgrade your team... also it's to use the modification upgrades like +10 pace etc... pace is probably the biggest benefactor... I've completely dominated other teams only to lose to them because they put a +10 on their already 89 pace player... those type of fifa players piss me off because the only reason they win is because their players are faster than mine.

ugh I had pace fuck me for a good 20 games or so. Finally decided I had enough and built a team of a bunch of fast guys. I still suck though, because typically I've always played a slower pace and passed the ball around rather than trying to counter quickly, but that seems a lot tougher this year than it was in 11.
My team was built pretty much entirely through the auction system as well, have like 20 quick italian dudes on my roster. Since I'm still in all bronze mode until I get past that tournament, none of them have any skill outside of being fast.
I'm too scared to even try season mode yet. Meh.
