Marc Stein ?@espnsteinline Going online now co-scribed w/ @windhorstespn: Warriors have begun aggressively shopping three expiring contracts to boost Dwight chances if we get dwight. Don't know why people are so happy about Dwight Howard. Guy has been sucking it up for the better part of two years now. Well he was hurting. And even while "sucking it up," he was still the best center in the league. In the past decade, he has been the anchor of some of the best defenses in the game, an good shotblocker, an elite rebounder, scores efficiently. Dwight, when 100% is a top five player (and I was saying this before we got him).

True, he put good numbers and was not 100% last year, plus he had to play with Kobe lol. Surround Dwight with shooters and another legit star(harden) and that could be lethal.

Wasted talent?
1) His "talent" is not worth 56mill over 4yrs.
2) It won't be wasted with a core of Knight, KCP, Drummond, and Monroe. Though, to be fair, I'm not a HUGE fan of that backcourt. Still, Smith, Drummond and Monroe will be a sick frontcourt.

Desperation move by the Pistons.

Which contract is worse, Josh Smith or Al Jefferson? At least Smith has the potential to be serviceable I guess..

I just want to say the Knicks completely destroyed their franchise by trading for Bargs. I'm a Raps fan (smh I know) but 2nd to my son being born, Bargs getting traded was the happiest day of my life!!!!

Has a solid fg% and is a big body in the middle. Josh 'Mid-range shawty' Smith is a tweener who will do whatever he wants to do, even if ti means taking 3's when he knows he sucks at them.

What about the fact that Jefferson cannot: -Space the floor -Defend the most commonly run play everytime down the floor (a high screen on the ball handler) -Score at an above average effciency I think we can all agree they both suck though. Also, Warriors fan, I'll bet you a modest 5 dollars that the Warriors don't exceed 50 wins next year. Go Raps go! (LOL)
