Player personel wise Jim has done a pretty good job since taking over for his dad. We should have CP3 right now if it wasn't for "basketball reasons". It still sucks thinking about what could have been...
Jim's main problem is that he hires HORRIBLE coaches, Rick Adelmen (imo one of the best HC's in the league) was available last season yet we hired Mike Fucking Brown because that is who Jim wanted. Then Jim realizes how bad of a coach Mike Brown is and fires him and instead of hiring Phil Jackson he hires Mike D'Antoni.
So yeah, Jim Buss has fucked up both times hiring a head coach

I guess Lakers fans will whine about the vetoed Paul trade till as long as he's in the league lol

That trade had every right to be vetoed anyway. Dell Demps has no idea what he's doing. Only reason that team has a somewhat bright future now is because of Stern.

Selfish and irrational? A trade was agreed to and was overturned by the league because of "basketball reasons". WTF does that even mean? If you're going to veto a trade at least give a reason that makes sense.
The only reason why CP3 isn't a Laker because pussy ass owners (ex. Dan Gilbert and Mark Cuban) did what they do best and bitched to David Stern about the trade. A team owned by the league is trading their star player, I'm pretty damn sure Demps would of had to get approval from the league/Stern to accept the trade in the first place. You always have to get approval from the owner before you accept a trade, do you not? Then once the trade gets released, owner's start complaining and saying there is a conflict of interest that the league is simply trying to help out a big market team. I could go on but you guys get the point...

“Steve used to come in the club and do cocaine off the table. It’s no big secret everybody in DC knows Steve Francis loves cocaine.
Steve used to trick on one of my girlfriends, but she knew about him tricking on another girl in Houston, Texas too.
She told me that Steve was losing his mind, he couldn’t remember their conversations. His wife Shelby holds all his money. Last month Steve checked into to rehab.

Kobe wants to complain about everything that is wrong but still be a ball dominant whore.

That trade getting overturned was the right thing. The Hornets GM was operating under the impression he could just do what he wanted - the team was owned by the NBA! Don't be so biased. You wound up with the better player (when healthy) anyways.

I can't wait to see Dwight go to Houston, get healthy and dominate while Kobe retires in a couple years running a top 5 player out of town.

Are you trying to tell me Nash is on the same level as CP3? I like Nash alot but he is not CP3, CP3 is a top 5 player in this league. Nash isn't even a top 5 PG, maybe not even top 10.
I'm not saying the Hornets were getting good value in return but if you aren't happy with what you are getting in return for CP3 the league should not have accepted the deal in the first place

No I am not telling you Nash=CP3. What I am telling you is that the same problems would exist, just with a different, better player. The league DIDN'T accept the deal. That's what the problem was.
Its no different than when the Raptors agreed to send Calderon to Charlotte for Tyson Chandler (yes, I am not kidding), and MJ nixed it at the last minute. Yeah, it's frustrating, but it happens in this business. The only difference is that it is blown out of proportion because it was LA and they almost always get what they want.
