don't disagree with this at all, just was confusing as hell when people were hyping him up as some sort of franchise player. Especially when you kept watching him and wondering where his left hand was or why he couldn't shoot off the dribble.

Don't get me wrong, Barnes is a nice player. But he was never going to be this all around superstar he was hyped up to be coming out of high school. Reminds me a bit of Paul George. Dude is the perfect 2nd/3rd option. Luol Deng type who can shoot sort of upside? Sign me up. Crazy to think Cavaliers could have had Barnes, Irving and Valanciunas as their core. Just brutal. waiters>>>

To say Jack Taylor had the hot hand Tuesday night would be an understatement.
The Grinnell sophomore guard dropped 138 points during a rout of Faith Baptist Bible, easily rewriting the collegiate scoring mark previously held by Bevo Francis. Grinnell, a Division III school in Iowa, won 179-104.
Taylor was 52-of-108 from the floor and drained 27-of-71 3-pointers. He added seven free throws on 10 attempts in 36 minutes.
He has 185 points through Grinnell's first three games.
Francis held the NCAA scoring record with 113 points against Hillsdale in 1954. In 1953, Francis had 116 against Ashland Junior College.
The previous Grinnell record was 89 by Griffin Lentsch last Nov. 19 against Principia.
