It was just a horribly officiated game. That pass interference call on the Raiders second-to-last drive was a joke. The blatant chop block on Ziggy Hood not getting called was a joke. The numerous holding calls on the Steelers while simultaneously ignoring Woodley getting held were laughable. A lot of really bad calls by these turd officials.

You know the referees are a joke when the Raiders have 3 penalties for 25 yards. And the Steelers have 10 for 81.

I'm sure one of those refs made a nice chunk of money off of this game though.

Good question. He didn't lead with the helmet. There really wasn't any helmet to helmet contact. Looked like maybe he took a shot to the neck/chin.

He nailed something up there with his helmet. If you're taking a shot on that angle hitting the neck/chin you're hitting the helmet as well.

Contact is obviously going to happen to the head/neck area in football. That's not really avoidable. They want to take leading with the helmet out of the game..and for good reason. Mundy obviously didn't lead with his helmet. Sounds like DHB will be alright, which is awesome, but this hit is not even questioned one bit if he weren't injured on the play.
