Centers
Vito Loving C 6'9" 245 18 B C- C- B- C+ A
Undersized Center who makes up for his lack of size with amazing athleticism. Not a very polished player at this point, mediocre scoring in the paint. Good handles and above average defender. Should average around 1-1.5 bpg as a rookie. Above average strength, just a mediocre rebounder. Scouts wonder if he has already peaked, Boom/Bust type with his age.
Rodolph Salembier C 7'0" 235 21 C+ C+ C- B B A
Talented big man from Canada with loads of upside. Above average scorer in the paint, good jumpshot. Thinks he can shoot threes. Above average defender, may eventually block around 2-3 bpg. Above average rebounder with good strength. Should develop into a really solid starter.
Lincoln McKissick C 7'3" 350 22 A- D D D A- B
Huge big man that is just a terror in the paint. Very good inside scorer with elite strength. Won't hit a lot of FTs. Might turn it over quite a bit if he is asked to carry too much of a load. Very poor defender, no redeeming qualities on that end of the court. Elite rebounder, mediocre athlete. Decent upside but what you see is what you get pretty much.
Tyson Jackson C 7'0" 280 19 C D C+ B+ B+ B
Poor offensive player who has a future in the league as a backup big. Very good rebounder both offensively and defensively. Good post defender who should average around a block and a steal a game, maybe more. Good post defender and good strength. Mediocre upside.
Mike Mulcahy C 6'11" 240 19 C- B+ B+ B+ B A
Talented young player who would be the unanimous #1 selection if he could score in the paint. Sadly, he can't. The rest of his game is very good. Good jumpshooter with a great 3PT shot, excellent pick and pop big man. Very good handles and elite quickness for a big man. Good passer, reads the defense well. Not a great shot blocker but is a very good post defender. Above average rebounder currently on both ends with very good strength. Good upside.
Power Forwards
Kip Fawley PF 6'10 235 20 D+ D+ F+ A- A- B
Excellent defender. Can steal and block at a very good rate. Above average post defender with good handles. Elite defensive rebounder. Good strength. Poor athlete. Solid upside. What you're getting: excellent defender who is shit on offense.
Don Slaughter PF 6'8" 275 20 B+ D D+ C+ B- B
Good inside scorer that is really strong. Also a surprisingly good athlete for someone his size. Not a good FT shooter with below average skills on the defensive end. Might average around a steal/game but that is about it. Might struggle with turnovers. Above average rebounder. Good upside.
Qian Zhou PF 7'0" 245 25 B B D+ C C C
Over-aged Chinese big man who should come in and add an instant offense threat to any team off the bench. Good at everything on offense, solid handles. Mediocre athlete and a poor defender. Above average strength.
Clinton Ayala PF 6'7" 240 21 B- C+ C C+ B- B
Skilled big man who is good at a lot of things, but not great at anything. Solid inside scorer with range out to the 3PT line. Solid handles, good positional defender but a below average shot blocker. Good defensive rebounder, solid strength and a decent athlete. Decent upside. Should find a spot in a rotation wherever he lands.
Long Kim PF 7'0" 205 18 B- C D+ C+ C A
Young, skilled big man who really needs to work on his game if he wants to take his game to the next level. He shows some nice moves in the paint, but he really struggles against stronger opponents. Good FT shooter who is an above average post defender. Might average around 1 BPG as a rookie. Decent offensive rebounder but a poor defensive rebounder at this stage. Very good upside. He has to get stronger and he knows it. He is even willing to take off a year and focus solely on getting stronger and gaining some weight, and if a team is willing to invest the resources he has a chance to be special.
(For a cost of 600 posts you can add 15 pounds to Kim along with +10 strength: The catch? He must not play his rookie year to get this bonus. So you can decide you want to do it before the season starts and then get 600 posts during the season. If he plays though the bonus is void).
Small Forwards
Andy Coon SF 6'9" 210 19 B B+ C+ C+ C A
Possible #1 pick. Should be a great player. Already very skilled on the offensive end for his age. Above average inside scorer, good jumpshot, very good 3PT shot. Solid handles, likes to set up his teammates for easy buckets. Not anything special on defense currently, but a solid perimeter man to man defender. Mediocre rebounder with average strength. Elite athleticism, big time potential.
Cayetano Vicente SF 6'7" 205 20 C A- B B C A
Skilled all-around player that has been playing professionally in Spain for a few years. Probably won't ever be an elite scorer because he is below average around the rim, but the rest of his game should fill out nicely. Decent jumpshot with a deadly 3PT game, can light it up from out there. Decent handles and a good passer, but what makes him intriguing is his lightning quick hands on defense. Should average 2+ SPG. Talented defensive rebounder, although he won't go for rebounds on the offensive end. Poor strength but a good athlete. Very good potential. Likely starter in the mold of someone like Rudy Fernandez.
Chauncey Schramm SF 6'7" 230 19 B B- C- C C B
Young wing player who is a decent offensive threat currently, but not much else. Solid inside scorer with decent strength and above average athleticism. Average 3PT shooter. Solid handles and a good offensive rebounder. Good potential.
Zane Strouse SF 6'7" 215 22 C+ B C- A- C+ C
Older player who has role player written all over him. Probably close to peaking. Average jumpshooter who should be able to hit open threes. Solid handles. Good positional defender who may average a spg+bpg. Could defend the post some with his good post defense. Average rebounder with average athleticism. Safe pick if you need a backup wing that could provide solid minutes.
Ulysses Mattson SF 6'10" 230 23 B+ C+ C- A- C B
Mattson was a top prospect coming out of high school. However he suffered a barrage of knee injuries during his college career at Iowa, robbing quite a bit of his elite athleticism. Fortunately, he was able to tailor his game around his gifted size and frame. He got a lot stronger, worked a lot in the post, and worked on his shout that was flat out awful in highschool. As a result he became a very good inside scorer that isn't lost when he goes to the FT line or out on the perimeter. He still struggles a bit with turnovers, but should average around 1-2 spg and is a solid positional defender. Good potential as scouts feel he can continue to work on the parts of his game that he made so good.
Shooting Guards
Jean Jean-Louis SG 6'5" 200 17 B- C+ B- C+ C A
Young guard out of France that has a boat load of potential. Really all of his game is just average at the moment, although he is above average at setting up his teammates currently. May become a great playmaker with an outside chance of becoming a PG. Might be a draft and stash player, although his camp is putting it out there that he would prefer to come in the league right away. You can opt to leave him overseas for a year, he would come back after the next seasons TC (so he would go through 2 TCs in a separate file) for a price of -10 to his potential, but his skills should develop further overseas, so you get 3 freebie RCs to use if you decide to put him overseas at -10 potential cost.
Odalis Swearingen SG 6'2" 199 22 C+ C+ C+ B D+ A
Big time potential, but his game is pretty unrefined. Just an average shooter. Good passer with average handling ability. Is a decent defender, should average around 1 SPG, solid positionally. Not a good rebounder. Mediocre athlete with average strength.
Victor Booth SG 6'5" 220 19 C+ B+ C C+ C- A
Good shooter who has a chance to be a nice offensive player. Solid potential and young. Very good jumpshooter, but still needs to work on his range. Might struggle with turnovers. Decent stats defender who may average around a block per game on the perimeter. Poor rebounder, good athlete.
Jae Hill SG 6'4" 226 22 C B- C A- C B
Really awkward game, in that he is complete shit on offense. Very poor inside scorer, can't hit a jumpshot to save his life. However he is a very good 3PT shooter. Solid handles. Where he shows the most promise is on defense, he is very good at steals and is a great shotblocker for a wing player. Also a very good man to man defender. Average rebounder, elite athleticism, decent potential. Probably a backup/5th starter with his stats defense.
Archie Bresnahan C+ B B C+ C+ C
Role player that has probably peaked. Decent offensive player with a great jumpshot. Good passer, average handles. Solid stealing ability, decent perimeter defender. Above average rebounder who is a great athlete.
Point Guards
Jewel Lyons PG 5'6" 165 20 D+ A- C+ B- C A
Small PG with big time potential and an interesting game. Inside ability is lacking and probably holds him back from being a truly elite player, but everything else is there. Great jumpshooter with a good 3PT game. Elite handles, shouldn't turn it over much. More of a scorer than a passer, he has the ability, but would prefer to focus on jacking up shots than passing. Just an average defender currently, may average around 1 spg as a rookie, ok positional defender. Decent rebounder for a PG. Poor strength, also not a great athlete for his size. Could be great in the right system.
Vinny Patty PG 6'1" 165 22 C B+ B+ C C- B
Might end up being a poor man's Steve Nash, a very poor man's Nash. Very good potential. Decent inside scorer with a very good jumpshot, improving three point shooter. Decent handles and a good passer. Above average stealing the ball but a poor positional defender. Poor strength, not a great athlete.
Isaiah Naan PG 6'0" 190 C C+ B- A- C- B
Poor offensive player who is a great defender. Very good positionally, may average around 1.5 SPG. OK potential, decent handles and a solid passer. Really likely he's just a backup player that can play some defense. Not a great athlete.
Boo Harkless PG 6'5" 170 18 B- C B B- C A
Young PG who had a very up and down season in his only hear at St. John's. Big time potential, but his game is unrefined. Above average inside scorer but a poor shooter. Might eventually be a decent jumpshooter but his 3PT game is pretty poor currently, can hit a few but not consistently currently. Also will probably struggle with turnovers early. Decent passer. Solid defender who is above average at stealing the ball. Good offensive rebounder for a PG, poor strength...great athlete.
Giampiero Torressani PG 6'6" 220 21 C B A B C+ B
Nicknamed the Italian Jason Kidd, Giampiero has a throwback PG game. He's an ok offensive player, but probably won't ever be great on that end. Just a decent shooter, nothing great. Not a great inside scorer. Might struggle with turnovers, but is a great passer. Solid with steals and a good positional defender. Great rebounder for a PG, good strength. Solid athlete. Decent potential.
