Nets should've tried getting their own futures back as top priority

We were talking with the commish on the trade. Hard to pass up on four first round picks. Hew Lenderyou went 8th overall last draft. Seems like the value is more than fair. I free up a good amount of money this off season to where I can go after a top free agent. I like this trade for me.

Hew is nice. I like him. He's solid. But this trade makes no sense without your picks going forward

Yeah.... Do you think I will even be 20 games over at seasons end? I dont have a PG that can not turn the ball over. If I am ten games over .500 I am lucky. Still added picks that can help any team out.
Might package them and see if I can land a top pick in the draft.

Trade doesn't make a ton of sense to be honest. Trade your best player and get back no futures. Unless you lost every single game going out you will likely still be in the playoffs. Even with Rose out you are winning games.
Hew is decent but nothing about him screams he is worth giving up Rose.
2 of the picks you get come from the same team you are giving Rose to. Rose+Wiggins will likely make those picks worthless.

Looks like he will be at around 50 million + the pick.

Someone message me on the cap thing... I cant find where this is posted. What are the numbers on the soft and hard cap? Seems like all leagues I am in are different. I am leaving shortly for the evening. Off to the Twins game.
