Faried is awesome, but he was taking too many shots and I'm stacked up front.
McLin will be on the IL for his entire rookie contract. If he wants to re-sign, it's his decision

So a guy who had a bad TC and bad notes who won't play and two picks for a team that he can improve for a two-time DPOY under 30 is a bad deal? Yeah, ok WTF, he had great notes and will have high potential for years. UK auto'd him # 2 so clearly likes him, and you get 2 golden picks from a Pacers squad that sucks and has almost nothing on its team. Faried has been traded a million times in this league and has never gone for more than 3 shitty 1sts. This is awful. You get the # 2 overall last years and 2 almost guaranteed lottos for Faried, who is not even worth Mclin himself. This is borderline VETO worthy, and you are only defending it because you know you raped the pacers (otherwise, you almost never defend the gm's you trade with) |

Because I honestly don't think McLin, currently, is a good prospect. I'm benching him for three more seasons so that his potential is an automatic +15.
