#1 Philadelphia 76ers- Charlie Stoffer PG 6'8" 210 19 B C+ C+ B C+ A
The Sixers have lacked stability since Alex Len join the BBS front office. They hope to unite a blue chip prospect like Stoffer with Andre Drummond for the next 4-5 years. Stoffer may not be the best pick or the consensus pick of the draft but he certainly has all the intangibles as far as size and strength for the point guard spot as well as potential and the most balanced ratings of most prospects in the pool.
#2 New Orleans Hornets (via Milwaukee) - Hew Lenderyou SF 6'9" 245 20 D+ A C C+ B A
Probably among the most intriguing prospects in the draft just based on his name alone. Lenderyou is not an inside scoring threat and probably may never be. However, Lenderyou looks like he could be a lite Quincy Davis with a jumpshot with that high rebounding grade. He could easily become a 20-24 point per game scorer in his prime and could be even better if developed properly.
#3 San Antonio Spurs - Johnie McKeown PG 6'1" 175 23 C B B+ C C- B
McKeon is a dope fiend since he's able to cure his teammates' injuries and ailments. For that reason and his stellar starting ratings, McKeon should be a top 3 pick. Obviously his defense leaves a lot to be desired but at this point you can live with that if he's able to cut injury rates in half. McKeon is a little older than most prospects but should still be taken anywhere from #2-5.
#4 Atlanta Hawks (via Denver) - Robert Beech SF 6'10" 195 20 B C D C C A
Again, another potential special inside scoring threat that could be available as late as No. 5 or even 7 depending on the team. Another scorer that will need to develop some more defense and handles in order to become a BBS starter. However, he has a good foundation and seems to be bursting with potential despite his lack of girth at 6'10.
#5 Sacramento Kings - Tony McLin C 7'0" 285 19 C+ D D+ B- B- A
It's quite obvious McLin should be a top 3 pick but because of his meniscus injury forcing him to miss his entire rookie year. This development essentially makes his rookie contract only really 3 years and could be less valuable because of that causing him to fall out of the top 3 and possibly the top 5. Still, McLin looks like he could be very good no matter where he's taken because of his size and potential.
#6 Miami Heat - Tobias Boudreau SG 6'3" 210 20 C+ B+ C B C A
Many GMs would probably consider Boudreau in the top 3 as well because his ratings are so polished already. His handles may need some work at shooting guard and his lack of size makes him more dicier in the top 5. However, he looks like a dead eye shooter and can be in the mold of a Ben Gordon in the future.
#7 Indiana Pacers - Martin Krause C 7'0'' 275 18 B- C D B- C+ B
Krause really reminds me of a young Brook Lopez with his strong inside scoring presence and stellar free throw shooting ability. Not an elite shot blocker but will get the job done to start ala Lopez. If he can get some potential help and some work on the boards, Krause could probably be one of the best bigs from this draft.
#8 Utah Jazz - Larry Kennedy SG 6'6" 205 20 B- B C+ C+ C B
Another balanced guard with not a lot of weaknesses. He seems to be another one of the safer picks in the top 10 along with Sotffer and Boudreau but may not have the same upside as the other two. Nonetheless, his handles are a concern but should have some swingman ability with his size which makes him more of a fit for any team.
#9 Denver Nuggets (via Cleveland) - Aldabert Toppag PF 6'10" 255 19 B C C C+ C A
Not a lot is known from his German prospect other than he can fill up the hoop within 10-15 feet. He seems to be more of the finesse type of power forward and is probably more suited to play small forward. Still, it seems like he can be molded into a starter with the right development plan.
#10 Atlanta Hawks - Greg Savoie SG 6'5" 205 21 B B- C- C+ C B
Another safe pick within the top 10 to join the others yet he looks very similar to Kennedy with a very balanced game. According to the notes, he may have lower upside than Kennedy but can still be a serviceable starter with the right ACs and RCs. His handles look like they need work along with his defense but could be a nice scorer despite those flaws.
#11 Seattle Sonics - Josh Moy SF 6'7" 220 22 C+ C C+ A C+ C
Moy looks reminiscent of another former Sonics lotto pick, in Yadim Yakimov, another defensive stud with less offensive game. Still, he should get some love in the lotto from some team looking for lockdown defense as he can easily be A+ after his first TC. If Moy can get to B B- C+ A B- in his prime, his GM should be very happy with their SF.
12- Miami Heat (via Portland) - Matej Benda C 7'0'' 230 20 B- D+ C- B C+ B
Benda screams post defender even without reading the notes. Like many players in this class, Benda could be a valuable rotational player on the right team. He could become a nice shotblocking big off the bench and could even get some starter minutes in the right role too.
13- Utah Jazz (via Boston) - Sidney Jones SG 6'3'' 180 22 B+ C C C+ C B
Jones reminds me a lot of Jackson Hunt, who's buried on the Kings bench right now, in terms of size and ability to score inside. Apparently, he's super quick and can take guys off the dribble, so he could be valuable if his defense is upgraded early along with his rebounding ability.
14- Miami Heat (via Golden State) - Terrance Russell SG 6'5" 215 22 C+ C+ C+ B C A
Russell provides an option to be moved to PG, where it seems it's his natural position, but will have to take a handling hit. If he's upgraded properly before the move, he may special especially with his size and frame. Still, he could be quite serviceable as a shooting guard for a team drafting in the mid-1st round.
