Suns Trade:
Lou Williams Dejaun Blair Eric Bledsoe Robin Lopez Andres Beidrenes (LLE)
Sonics Trade:
Monta Ellis Darko Milicic JJ Hickson (LLE) Jabari Gates
Agreed. Tough one to analyze but I really needed a player like Darko to block shots, so i see him as an upgrade over Blair. Monta has a better contract than Lou so that is a plus, especially for our rebounding. Sucks to lose Bledsoe's depth, but meh, it's a much nicer salary picture for next year now.

You said you wanted to rebuild and yet, all you get are untradeable assets. Odd.

Aar's offer was pretty bad. LOL @ calling Bledsoe and Lou untradable when both have gone for solid value in the last three days when Marvin Williams was involved in your offer and you can't get rid of him for expirings even when adding 2 1sts.

I'll take Marvin's soon to be expiring contract over Bledsoe and Lou's any day. Wouldn't trade Marvin for ever straight up.

At this point I've realized from my own experience shopping him that keeping Marvin's big expiring next season is better than getting owned in a deal where I trade him this season.
Teams who want to retain talent will be knocking my door down for Marvin's expiring next year. I know because I was the one knocking this year.

He's doing 39% shooting and doing absolutely nothing on a team with the two best players in the laeague. Lou Williams is a superstar and i just traded kawhi leonard in a deal for him. Bledsoe's at least a useful defender. Marvin's useful at...welll...nothing. Dwight 3x more valuable than anyone in this deal? I'd take Blair over him, or at least would hold them in close regard. Blair is far more efficient with his fg% and doesn't turn it over.

Bledsoe has three years left and is backup quality. I'll take one year less Marvin than an extra year of Bledsoe. If you think anyone would give expiring for Bledsoe or Lou, you're nuts

Anyone looking to win would for Lou. And at the very least, they can net you good non-expirings (i.e. Kawhi Leonard), which Marvin cannot.
DeJuan Blair C 33 30.1 14.0 11.6 1.6 1.2 1.5 1.4 .477 .668 .000 Dwight Howard C 28 35.1 20.8 12.6 2.2 1.0 2.3 2.5 .440 .647 .000
Like what? Blair is 27, Dwight is 30. Blair is on a much better contract. Dwight is playing next to LMA and Acy and is shooting 44% and turns it over 2.5 times a game.
Not only have i had both Dwight and Blair for extended periods, and know I prefer Blair pretty easily, but the numbers tell the whole story. Blair's are much better. Per 36, Blair is also at 17/12.5.
