I went over with your signings though And 70% of teams are at the HC, with 5-10 teams about to go over when they have to complete their roster. 78 mil hc is just no longer viable, but whatever.

It doesn't really have much to do with it. Inflation is normal in leagues. That's why in every version we've had increases of the HC along the way. We're in what--2017--and the HC hasn't gone up yet? It's also so close to the soft cap that 78 is just too low. It makes it almost impossible to trade at these HC numbers. Almost every competitive team is at the HC.

they all have a bunch of bad contracts

Bos--77.2 Mia--77.4 NJ--77.4 PHI--76.6 NOH--75.3 CHI--76 CLE--77.2 DET--75.5 IND--77 MIL--77 TOR--77.7
That's just the East. Even middle of the road competing teams are at the HC, and it's not all bad contracts. The number is too low.

kobe, you are at the HC with a rookie contract PF, Faried at C who is criminally underpaid, and only 2 guys on max contracts.

I kind of agree
If HC is raised, it should be effective for next season and salary cap should be raised too

this is by far the most exagerrated the HC has ever been. In every other version it moves with time.
Never was below 82-85, especially this late into the 2000's

it only matters for a few years anyway maxes go up with the hc With the soft cap* Contract numbers are fixed in FBB, HC should realistically be able to be set anywhere with the only effect being we must adjust how we build teams and offer contracts. There is no inflation like real life, which is the only reason they raise salary caps.

no it is because people give out redoncoulous contracts everyone laughed at my fa bids but i think i got some real nice contracts but people don't want to build teams and give a 3 or 4 year contract this is why i wish we could frontload or backload contracts like the nfl...........when a player is 33-35 he should not be getting 20 m a year. JMO of a newbie that prob doesn't count.

I was all for changing the hard cap before but its actually fine. 78 mil forces teams to make moves and not sit on players. It also forces teams to consider the contracts when they sign players. Some guys are just pushing an agenda in this thread. Repeat HC offenders every single season.
