1. Your goal is to obviously win a title this season... you had a rough early start but are slowly creeping up in the standings...Explain your team strengths and weaknesses...What issues do you need to address and do you plan to solve them this season?
After my draft and preseason, I was overly confident and didn't think we had many weaknesses. I was concerned about our rebounding, but whenever we have rebounding problems we can just give Fortson more minutes. As far as strengths go, we can put up points with the best of them and we get a lot of steals. We are too inconsistent though right now to be a title favorite, as our role players seem to be going on and off, on and off. I think trading AK47 will help with our defense a lot and give our lineup a new look.
2. You posted Power Rankings after 15 days in the season...now it's been 40 days...do you still stick with your current Rankings or would you re-rank any teams? If so, what changes would you make and why?
No, I wouldn't stick with the rankings. I'd put Golden State in the top 3. They have no star power, but this early into the league, depth can really win, and the Warriors are proving that better than anyone. I'd stick us down 1 or 2 spots, would move the Spurs to the bottom of the list (they are really struggling), and would revise what i said about the Blazers. Outlawz isn't paying enough attention right now.
3. You were dumbfounded at the Warriors trading Steve Nash ... had they kept Nash, do you think they would still be playing at the same level right now? Other than trading for Camby, what other player(s) could have been a better trade for Steve Nash, or even Billups? Put yourself in the Warriors shoes!
Yes, if the Warriors had Nash, they'd be outstanding. I would have tried to trade Billups over Nash. Maybe it would be tough to get a player like Camby, but you could probably get a guy like Kandi+, or Ratliff, Brad Miller, Dampier+. Basically i just think that keeping Nash with all of that depth would have been sick. But the Warriors have already proven me wrong this year.
4. Boston are probably the favorites to come out east, considering they have the best frontcourt in the league with Shaq-Duncan... however, the rest of their team is meh with Artest shooting horrible and Kittles-Ward backcourt is ehhh... do you see them coming out East or do you see Detroit, Indiana, or another team taking the East title?
I think Boston comes out of the East. I've talked to DBW and he looks like he is tinkering a lot and is considering trading Artest. That frontcourt is too good to lose in the playoffs, and Detroit and Indy don't have the defenders to matchup. Maybe New Jersey has a chance against Boston because they seem to matchup well.

Already did this in the tiger den, but I have a feeling it will be greg. Most teams either went for the complete rebuild or the "win-now" mode. Greg is rebuilding but i don't think he lands the top picks neccessary to survive in three years. You need to really suck off the bat in a creation league if you want to be okay in a few years.
7. How do you feel about BBS Five at the moment? Do you think it will be better than BBS 4? If you were to suggest anything to make it better, what would it be? What changes would you make? Share us your thoughts.
I really like how this league is started--we seem to have a solid bunch of GM's. I think the last league ran its course, and we needed a fresh start. With that said, it might be unrealistic to expect this league to be better than BBS4. Ratings might be controlled better and the rules might see an improvement, but that league ran for a million years and had a million posts. Impossible expectations. And as far as changes--10 day sims! The next few seasons will have few trades since everyone has a clear direction. 5 day sims don't make much sense to me.
8. There are a handful of mediocre teams out there... some trying to tank but are winning meaningless games at the same time... both conferences are very weak on the bottom and the lotto can only feed 13 teams....what tanking team(s) do you see making the playoffs this season?
Raptors, Sonics, Grizzlies, and i'm going to take a stab and say the Cavs. they are too talented to tank and the Wizards have huge TO problems so i see them slowing down soon.
9. How do you feel about Joe Johnson being drafted in the first round? Many people laughed at his ratings and contract...do you see him exploding next TC? Will GM's eat crow if/when his ratings/production match his salary? Or do you see JJ becoming a huge bust?
I mean he'll probably have a big TC. You'd think he has 85-100 potential but he SUCKS right now so he will need a lot of work outside of the potential. The only way he'll be worth a 1st round draft pick is if he gets 3 RC's, 3 AC's, and has some good TC's due to potential as well. Ratings are so low right now that RC's and AC's can play such a huge difference.
