I'll always give iOS credit for just working. Never saw force closes and freezes with it like I did with pretty much all android devices pre-ICS Guess you have never used an iPhone 3G on iOS 4 or iPhone 3GS on iOS 5. Slow as hell, sometimes apps just randomly exit. Probably gonna be the same thing happening to the iPhone 4 and OG iPad on iOS 6 too. Probably bad examples since they are outdated by then but still, shit is unusable. What you expect though? The most up to date Operating Software will be built for the most up to date hardware accompanying it. It requires more powerful hardware to run at optimum speeds etc. It still runs on the older hardware, but you can't expect it to be as smooth as it is on the phones it was specifically designed for.

Why even release software to a device when it clearly can't handle it?
its dumb.
I was just saying though. Plus I've had similar to a force close type thing where the app just randomly disappears with no warning on a latest device as well (was latest at the time).

If you want the latest experience, you get the latest hardware for it. iOS updates are not compulsory and they're not even chaging you for it, it's all free. If you don't like how it runs, don't get it. People complain too much.

My bad. That was an accident.
I was just saying in general, some of their updates render some of their devices completely useless. Why get so defensive? Regretting your purchase?
The main reason why I'll never purchase another Apple product (ever again, used to have an iBook, it was garbage) is the poor overall quality. They stress looks over actual solid quality. Look at how easy the 4 and 4S shatter when dropped.

If you drop it it deserves to break lol. That said, I've had the original iPhone, the 3GS, the 4, the 4S and the 5... I've dropped all except the 5 and none of them have had their screen shatter. In fact, my 4S flew out of its case and hit my mate in the chest, then hit the floor from that high up. I got a couple of scratches on the side bezel and that was it. Nothing else. What do you expect though? Not regretting my purchase at all otherwise I would have returned it lol. Love my phone. Just think a load of people bitch and whine over nothing lol. Nobody's forcing them to buy these products or update the software. It's like having a computer from 1995 and trying to load up Windows 8 or whatever the lates Windows OS is now, and bitching that it's not working. Duh it wasn't built for those computers.

You should be able to drop them without it breaking smh.

Don't think I've ever seen anyone complain about Apple build quality.
I'm generally pretty anti-Apple, but that isn't something they have an issue with.

I'm an Apple fanboy (no shame lol) and I've always thought the build quality is great, and I expect things to happen when I do things like drop products or drop stuff on them. By comparison a Galaxy S3's back feels so cheap since it's plastic and really thin. I didn't like the 3GS for that reason too, but when you look at stuff like the unibody MacBooks and stuff... pretty damn good to me.

And who the fuck bought it for so much? I'm a massive Apple geek and even I wouldn't pay over the retail price for one.

For me personally I couldn't give half a fuck about build quality. The GS3 is a more powerful device, so for me it's a pretty easy decision.
