[glow=blue,2,300]Erbes and Nanz's Awesome Preseason Top 10[/glow]
Nanz and I are getting the Dream Team back together for a super exciting preseason top 10!! We're a little rusty so bear with us... I'm sure it'll be great anyways!
#10
Nanz: Golden State Warriors
LOL at this team being so damn old. Damn. Anyway, everyone else i guess is stil tanking LOL The kings would be on this list but it seems they are looking to tank though they really havent moved their big pieces so they might as well win some damn games! Anyway Shaq is still alive for some reason and putting up respectable numbers. dirk and PP should still be putting up 20+ ppg easy. Rondo is a beast tho so that good for them. KG had 12+ reboudns in the pre-season whcih is something CC should be thrilled with because he is actually contributing to the team LOL Kevin Garnett PF 36 $20,212,500 $22,050,000 $23,887,500 $25,725,000 $0 $0 $0 $91,875,000 Still pretty crazy LOL

Lol @ Nanz and I agreeing right out of the gate. I did this more as a tribute to CC though. Poor guy. It sucks losing interest in a shitty ass old team. Can we please invite him back in 2 months and give him a team full of young studs so he'll stick around longer? Ouch. Anyways, this team belongs in a nursing home. They could legitimately have 4 guys retire at the end of the season: Shaq, Dirk, PP, and KG. And then what? Good thing this isn't a futures ranking! I think Rondo is great, but not super awesome. We'll see how he does as an option this year. The West is weak and so I expect the Warriors to be a top 3-4 seed no problem.

Nanz: Detroit Pistons
Where is Repole Anyway Durant is a beast nobody talks about it anymore really Kevin Durant SF 82 39.7 30.2 9.0 4.4 2.2 0.9 2.8 .478 .890 .415 Damn. Cenk is a damn good point guard without a doubt! only 25 years old Iggy is another solid player for them and their bigs are pretty good. If repole was more active i thnk he could turn this team into a legit contender... KD and cenk are a pretty amazing core. The team is real thin so we'll see what they can do this year but they should win 50 this year again without a doubt.
Erbes: Orlando Magic
Surprise! I always rank Play's teams really high and then he disappoints me. I feel good about slotting him at #9 this year. I really like them to surprise a few people.
Milan Macvan C 22 6'9'' 260 C+ A C- C B+ B
Kenneth Faried PF 22 6'7'' 225 B- D+ D+ B A- A
Paul George SF 22 6'9'' 214 B- A- C B- C B
James Harden SG 23 6'5'' 220 B+ A- C+ B C- B
Josh Selby PG 21 6'3'' 195 B- B+ A- B D+ A
Tony Wroten PG 19 6'5'' 205 B C- B- B+ C B
That's a solid young core whose ratings are pretty developed. They might need some help on the defensive end, as most young teams do, but if Play makes a few tweaks this team could make a legit run at a top 4 seed in my eyes.

Nanz: Utah Jazz
Forgot that this team made the conference finals last year LOL Game has built i a good team without a doubt. He had a block for Tmac or Baron but their value is not what he thinks it is so might as well keep winning for sure. Baron is still such a fucking beast LOL wow Baron Davis PG 80 36.5 27.1 5.8 10.1 1.7 0.3 2.2 .492 .713 .432 sooo good. Lin is gonna have to wait for the time being lol. Though he needs to trade him for a good big and go for it all!. Eric and Tmac are awesome no doubt about it giving them a hell of a 1 2 3 but they need help up front big time. Bass has some solid ratings but didn't play up to them in preseason. Hawes is solid but meh. The Jazz are 1 move away from killing it IMO. Then again they made the Conference Finals last year so what do i know lol.

I like this team, but I don't love it. I understand the difference Nene made when he was injected into the starting lineup last year, but he went down in TC and I'm not sure he can rebound enough to make a difference. On the other hand, the Knicks have 3 20+ PPG scorers in Yao, LeBron and Wade. Wow. That's fire power. I think for this team to be successful the Knicks will need to add some much needed depth and I don't see how that happens without giving up a guy like Nene due to the lack of expiring contracts. I like the Knicks to finish top 3 in the conference, but it's going to be a struggle all year and Andy will have to get creative with DC's.

Nanz: Houston Rockets
Dwight has the ratings of a stud but doesn't really play like it but even so he is still a really good big to have. 2+ blocks and a rebounding is hot. Monta is a beast though Monta Ellis SG 12 38.0 23.0 3.7 4.1 2.8 0.1 1.7 .477 .906 .440. His scoring should go up without a doubt and his steals are awesome. Just a really awesome player. Pau is still alive and put up godo numbers in pre-season shooting 59% from the field lol. manu is a another solid peice to have nothing great but not bad. The big thing for the Rockets is that Kobe gave them a ton of picks LOL for this bro John Henson PF 21 6'11'' 220 B- D+ D- B- C+ B so yeah. They should be able to upgrade at the point and wherever else they need to.
Erbes: Utah Jazz
This team gets a huge bump because the West is so garbage this year. I think there's only like 4 teams out there actually trying to compete. GAME was smart to hold on to Davis and McGrady. There's no way he gets value for them with so many teams tanking. This looks a lot like my Pacers circa 2008. All guards and no bigs. Bass has those sexy ratings, but hasn't really produced to this point. I'd love for GAME to write an article, partly because of the lulz that would come from it, and partly because he should really be pumping points into guys like Bass and Hawes if he wants to win it all. Again, the West is suppperrrrr weakkkkk this season and I could see the Jazz as a top 3 seed and maybe in the conference finals again.

Nanz: Indiana Pacers
The pacers enter their CY and they have made some big moves to get themselves in position to beat it by a long shot. CP3 is a beast lol Chris Paul PG 11 40.4 24.0 4.0 10.5 3.1 0.3 1.7 .495 .913 .421 3 steals is hot and he is just nasty. They were able to get AK and he is a pretty damn good player to have right in the middle of your lineup. Cousins up front had a sick TC and is starting to look like a beast LOL. Oden is a really good big for them to have and haywood blocks sooo many shots they should be pretty set up front.... completely different than their VC and Marion days LOL. They don't have alot of depth but they have a great pg and good bigs... thats a good team to have.
Erbes: Phoenix Suns
Skillz is soooo goood at taking mediocre talent and turning it into something hawt. Point and case? Brook Lopez. Dude looked horrible in the draft and even after a couple TC's wasn't much, but now the dude is a mainstay in a powerhouse lineup. Not sure trading Marion to resign Lopez was the smartest idea, but following that move up by acquiring DeRozan was sick. DD looks soooo tasty. JO is father time at this point, but that clock is still ticking to the beat of double-doubles every night. Oh and in case you forgot the Suns have Rubio running the show. He only averages a combined 4 SPG+BPG per game. No big deal. This team should probably be higher, but they do play in the West sooo yeah. Sorry!

Nanz: Portland Trailblazers
Here comes spence! To be honest i forgot about this team LOL. The west is weak and this team should rack up the wins. THey made a TON of moves in the off-season and they are looking to make some noise in the west. Tim Duncan is somehow still a beast despite being 100 years old. LMA is meh lol but good enough and had a nice preseason. Marion is the other big piece they were able to get and this guy is as good as they come... such a beast still. Steph is gonna take the lead for this team and spence has ACs to spend on this guy to be pretty good. With this team Spence should be able to reset his contract year which is pretty nice Not sure how far they will be able to go in the play-offs but who knows.
Erbes: Detroit Pistons
Donde esta Repole!?!? Nanz is right. Nobody talks about Durant anymore. It's ridiculous. The numbers this guy puts up are absurd. Looks like Repole is going to try him at PF for the time being. That could be really fun. I think this team has one of the best blends of bigs and guards in the league. Granted they do need to make a couple more of moves. Adding another scorer would go a long way this season. So yeah this ranking is more based on what I think this team should be this season than where they stand currently. I expect Repole to come back with a fire under his butt and turn this team into a championship contender. I mean it's Durant!!! Come on!

Nanz: New York Knicks
This team has a big three like no other. Yao Lebron and Wade is as good as it comes IMO. Wade went nuts in pre-season, Dwyane Wade SG 12 40.3 29.8 7.5 4.1 2.2 0.5 1.7 .478 .882 .340 and should keep it up all year long. Yao is getting old but he should still be able to put up all star numbers for them. However, the problem with the Knicks is who else is on that team LOL Danny should be good for them off the bench especially once andy ACs his ass. Who is gonna play the 4 for them? is Lull their PG? I would like to see an upgrade there tho they probably can't really afford it. Nene Hans and Amrstrong to play next to YAo? i dont likey likey. Despite all of that their big three sis plenty for them to have a sick season.
Erbes: Portland Trailblazers
OMFG SPENCE! Spencer said fuck you CY in a flurry of trades all within the span of like 45 minutes it seemed. He's got 4 20+ PPG scorers: LMA, Duncan, Mayo, and Marion. Ugh I miss Marion so much. He was my favorite. The guy does everything so well. Not really a weakness to his game. He's got great depth and overall really good defense. Wouldn't be surprised if he easily held people under 100 ppg throughout the season. And oh yeah he's about to pump like +50 into Steph Curry to make him a stud muffin. Spence really knows the ins and outs of FBB so I expect him to make a great lineup and win the West this year.

Nanz: Phoenix Suns
Suns had a great regualr season last year but lost early in the playoffs. skillz dealt Marion but i think he made the right move. Demar improved outside and looks pretty solid for them. They also got Sullinger who had a pretty damn good TC and should help out their front court this year. Their defense should still be pretty good and JO Brook Marv and Demar went to town in preseason. We'll see if they can be as good as they were last year in the regular season but as of now i think they are still atop of the west. Jermaine O'Neal PF 77 32.9 21.4 10.5 1.7 0.7 1.7 2.4 .452 .721 .000 LOL at JO still putting up numbers at his age. Rubio with a 4 stl+block is also pretty damn sexy.
Erbes: Indiana Pacers
Hey Spence I see your CY and raise you another CY! We're like CY bros! And we're both going to kill it! I always rank my team way higher than it should be, but I think this is my best team to date. Even better than those Terry-VC-Marion teams. CP3/AK/Oden/Cousins easily bests the CY, but how far do I make it in the playoffs? We all know I'm a terrible playoff GM. I could really use a SG and depth, but I'm all out of assets. Does that make me a bad GM? Nahhh!!!

Nanz: New Jersey Nets
The champs are back and we gotta show them some respect. Still not sure how they won with that roster but hey they are the champs. Deron is such a beast there is no doubt in my mind that he is the best point guard in the league LOL. Green put up 25 ppg in preseason and should have a sick year for Greeme full-time. Bogut and Millsap gives this team a ton of blocks up front and thats something not a lot of teams have. Their rebounding needs some improvement.... bogut and millsap both averaged 7 and 9.5 respectively and that is a big no no. Greeme has been shopping Bj and picks for a while so lets see what he can get done with that fool. Also lol at at Denmon... who is this freak.
Erbes: Atlanta Hawks
This team is such bullshit. Didn't Don take over for a team that had already tanked for two seasons and then he got to tank for an additional 3 on top of that? Of course this team is going to be good. Anyways, they're really good. Tibor looks pretty busty as expected, but we all saw that coming besides Don. Meh I guess his blocking is solid. We'll see how Redd holds up as he gets older, but this team should have no problem even with a small decline from him. Lots of good depth behind a solid starting lineup. We all know Don refuses to trade with anybody unless he's getting a rape, but he might need to find another big if Pleiss can't score.

Nanz: Atlanta Hawks
The Hawks weren't able to get over the loss of Kevin Love last year but they are back this year stronger than ever. Rudy Gay looks pretty damn awesome right now. Redd Gay and the MVP in the backcourt is something scary for other teams to try to defend. Love and Tibor up front is solid especially with Tibor blocking shots in preseason. They need to pick up some depth up front because they are very very thin but other than that they have a pretty damn good team up and down the lineup.
Erbes: New Jersey Nets
Am I really saying Greeme has the best team in the league at this point? Holy fuck. I am. I don't even know how it's possible, you look at his roster and it's like yeah it's a good team, but is it great? The answer has to be yes. Greeme does a really good job of getting everything out of his players. The Deron/Conley combo is pretty deadly. If he could trade Deron or BJ for a big, wow this team could roll. I think one of the most underrated players in the league is Jeff Green. Quietly goes about putting up 20/7. Would love that guy. Good work Greeme.
YEEEEEEEEE!!!! PEOPLE VOTE!!! THANKS!!!
