Nanz! Hello! Long time no talk. Welcome to the Lounge!
1. So let's get things straight. Why are Bogut and Deron still on your roster? Where were they initially supposed to go and why did the trade fall through?
Alrighty! Glad to be here! LOL Well Bogut and Deron were supposed to go to Denver for Rose and some picks. Things just didn't work out i guess. Jeff is a good guy but time zones were a bitch to deal with. We pretty much agreed on a deal last saturday but we just couldn't finalize it. Wallace retiring on him was really what did it. He just didn't have enough guys with birds to get fillers. It sucks because i passed on more than a few good deals thinking we would be able to finalize the deal but it didn't work out. Jeff is super busy and its tough PMing back and forth when one guy is here and the other is on the other side of the world LOL He is a good guy tho so its all good. Things just didn't work out so now its time to see what else is out there!
2. Where do the Lakers go from here? If you got the trades you wanted, would you rather rebuild or compete again?
Honestly i have no idea. I've sent out some PMs and gotten a few all in different directions. Favors I think still has a chance to become a super star so even though all my posts Im ok with him being my centerpiece, I like him a lot. At the same time i think Favors and Burks are enough to try to get some solid vets and try to win a couple more years while i get for the right offers to rebuild. I really dont care which way we go... at all. To be honest I also enjoy having a so so team and having to work with what you have... its also fun I'm going to school sunday and its gonna be my last semester and by far the hardest so i'll continue to be just another mediocre gm until then lol.
3. Where would you rank Deron among the most valuable players in the league? Outline a trade/package (name players!) that would get someone Williams.
I love Deron. He is just sooo good and no flaws to his game. Low tos (right now we are going very fast so they are a little higher) steals and 20+ poitn scorer. He is also a very good rebounder and i know assists don't matter but i think it looks sexy on his stat line LOL. Ummm well my activity in following players in the league has been poor so i dont really know where to rank him... i guess CP3 is better but other than him Deron is the man. As far as packages lets see... teams tanking looking for compete should be all up in this. 6ers with wall could get him duh Pacers are gonna be in their CY so i guess something with Cousins and Leonard eventhough they suck i have to help out Jeff LOL. Irving would be nice but they have a lot of years of tanking left so nah. Ummm i really dont know what else is out there which is why he is still on my team i guess LOL
4. Don, of all people, has recently become a force in the league. Is he for real? Where would you rank him among the GM's in BBS?
Ummm didn't he just get back in the league? I really dont know to be honest but i think Play said that he had been allowed to tank extra years because he biggie left? I also dont know if he got all those assets because of the last GM or him. I think this is all relevant to knowing if he is a force... Last year he won 51 games and this year he seems to have a sick team with Redd and i just saw Lowry is a beast LOL. I guess i would rank him top 15? LOL i dont know. I need to see more... he wasn't good the last time he was here but i like him so i hope he becomes a top GM because we need that.
5. Play has won just one title (a disappointment, some say), while Repole has been quiet lately. Have either fallen off? Who is the better GM?
I guess I'll go with Play now because he has won. Reople has KD and has been consistently good. Play always puts together good teams and so does Reople. I dont think they have "fallen off" but its more that they dont put in as much time as they used to. I know repole has been busy and it really is tough to invest all that time in trade talks and all that stuff that comes with it. I know from personal experience once my friends left it wasn't the same. I got more and more busy and event though i was on the boards checking and stuff i didn't have the time to go after trades and all that stuff. I used to be a top GM but its tough to maintain a high level of interest to go after trades and be on the boards to be the first to offer when a player is being shopped etc.
6. Greeme has made the playoffs all eight years, the only GM to do so. However, he has yet to win a title. What is more impressive: the Pistons/Magic/Suns stretch (6 playoffs, 1 title) or the Nets stretch (never missing the playoffs)
Ummm I guess id go with Greeme? usually i go with titles but one is like meh. You also have to remember that Greeme lost TC which is pretty huge. IF that doesn't happen i think he wins 1 title... at least. 8 years is pretty awesome and he has seasons of a lot of wins... 3 49 wins which could have easily been 50 and he has 6 50+ win seasons... pretty nice. For that ill go with Greeme.
7. Will Andy make the CY? Did he make a mistake in trading too much for Dwight?
He'll make it no diubt. He has a lot of talent and i think he should take one of his big pieces and trade for a couple of really good players. 8. Should Jordan be fired? He hasn't made a move in a decade.
Yikes I mean i guess. I've always thought you have to be very kind to long time BBS vets LOL but yea damn Jordan LOL Hes been riding O'Neal for a while now. I don't think he should just be fired but Marty should PM him to see whats up with him and see if with his schedule he has the time to be a bit more active. I rather have Jordan in the league tho mainly cause how long he has been in the league for. Also, are there any guys out there that can come and take his team? I dont think there are a lot of guys in the WL so keep him if he has enough time to be ok.
9. When is Habes coming back? Will he ever be an active member of BBS again?
Habes will be back soon no doubt about it!!!! He wont ever be as active as he once was just like i wont be and you wont be... things change but we all still really enjoy doing BBS... its a fun hobby to have no doubt. Hanes will come back but dont expect him to be more active than what he was before and thats alright. He will get his posts in and he will get his wins. He needs to be back right now! COME ON!
10. Who did a worse GM job: CC with the BBS Warriors or Mitch Kupchak with the NBA Lakers?
LOL damn damn damn. Lakers will be ok no doubt about it! Wait till after the AS Break and you'll see! As far as CC lol... again damn damn damn. That team is sooooo old LOL. KGs deal is so terrible wow:

everyone on his team is too old to get anything other than a few picks or just expiring. He went for it all a few years ago and you gotta give him some credit for that but right now that team is so damn old. Rondo is solid Rajon Rondo PG 14 38.4 16.5 6.5 7.7 2.4 0.6 2.5 .471 .758 .294 so thats nice but CC is gonna have to rebuild soon and he doesn't have his picks which is tough. I would try to get those picks back as soon as possible with Dirk or Rondo because boy he is gonna be in a tough tough situation soon.
11. Better at drafts: Spence or Broph? Why?
Well Spence is my boy! So spence all the way!! YEEEE. I've only really done one Broph draft and i did like it tho. I felt like i had a really good chance to draft someone pretty good at 17 or wherever i picked LOL and that is awesome. I'll go with Spence because of the sample size and he always made a lot of good players and inflated the league which is always fun I do really really like the way Broph does the notes tho... pretty sweet and i look forward to that. Again ive only done one broph draft and i liked it a lot
12. If you were to change anything in this version of BBS, what would it be? How is Martinez doing?
Def the cap. I miss the old 85 mil years we used to have 78 is such a weird number its like come on! At least make it 80! AM I RIGHT! Other than that i think we've done a good job with the rules and stuff. I know people have talked about how we do notes and spending rcs to get some sort of notes but meh thats gonna be to rough to come up with something that will work. Marty is doing an awesome job and we are all thankful he kept this going. Pretty awesome he did. YEEE MARTY!
13. David Lee or Lebron James, who do you take and why?

This is nasty wow. 57% is ridic and low TOs and 93 from the line lol damn! Spence said this guy was meh LOL what a fool!!!!! I'll go with lebron tho he is just so complete and he can put up those numbers with a lot better defense. I know that bigs are hard to come by but lebron is just a beast. You can play him at the 3 or 4 and he could do 30 a game with 10+ rebounds no doubt. Lebron is also younger is that counts by a year LOL I think Lebron has a lot more value tho just a more complete players

Hahaha well you will be surprised to know that i didn't do anything this year! LOL My girlfriend and I went out to dinner and came back to my house and watched the ball drop and went to bed by 1 LOL it was really nice tho and I had a great time. My friends however went to the city and got crazy!!! Habes hooked up with like 7 chicks so he was like YEEE HABES WITH THE BABES! lol I got really sick the 2nd and had a bad case of the flu for 2 days and it was fucking tterrible... pretty rough way to start the year IMO
15. Who will be the next to win a title, the BBS lakers or NBA Lakers?
OH lord i hope its the NBA Lakers but lord it will probably be the BBS Lakers. I hope that the Lakers win one more Ring before Kobe retires and i think after the off-season they will be closer to doign that if DH12 stays but thats like 1.5 years away so i think i will luck into a ring by then AM I RIGHT! Plus i already have 5 BBS rings so once Kobe wins his 6th ill get my 6th. I dont wanna get it first out of respect really.
