really, and though I dont have the actual knowledge, it seems like FBB decides if the shot is going in based on ratings, then decides if the pass was an assist, the passing just seems to make the guy more likely to well, pass

but yeah, a team whose PG didnt have any passing, (same with the entire team), typically performed superior to a team whose PG had amazing passing (same with full teams), it isnt a perfect move by any means, and maybe somebody should ask heavyreign about it, but it just seems better all around to have no passing

I'd rather see someone sim 5 seasons, measure the team's ppg and FG% (or even better efg%/ts%) each year, then take 25 points or w/e off the passing and see if those stats are affected... wins too I guess if you wanted.
this is a lot to take in lol. when you hear "assists mean nothing" its pretty easy to be reserved.

Broph have you ever done a study on different passing ratings with same handling rating vs TO's? It's definitely feasible that heavyreign figured high passing PG's would be more likely to have passes picked off in the passing lanes etc which could lead to teams performing worse on average with high passing players

IDK it would be cool if there was another element to TO's other than just ball handling. I'd like to think the program is more complex than that. Strength and Speed should be other elements in TO's but we've been led to believe it's just handles
