then Jah is contemplating stepping down because he states this is way to fast paced for him(yeah I didn't say anything but I don't agree) and that i's more of a burden. I know i'm in the minority there. I just don't get how people get all crazy if FA isn't done within like 4 hours of the draft ending. Just seems like I'm gonna get in trouble if I don't do this real quick instead of yay let me do this and then get excited to see what happens after. I miss the days of Monday 6 PM draft ends Tuesday 12 PM FA day 1 Tuesday 9 PM FA day 2-3 Wednesday 12 PM FA day 4-5 + TCor whatever the schedule is. Just a schedule is there.
As I said I'm probably the only one. That is why I said maybe this pace just isn't for me anymore. Yesterday I what finished the draft at like 4 or 5? I actualy started FA bids but then customers walked in and I had to deal with them. It was then 6:10 and I had to go coach LL Bkball by 6:15 (was 5 mins late) I got done there and went home, turned on the skins game. Did my fa bids. Sent them at like 9:30-9:45 or so and noticed that it was to late. If we did it over again I would do the same thing. Don't think I did anything incorrectly. I wasn't saying anything was someone elses fault. shut the fuck up

Once the draft starts, gm's should be sending in FA bids.....There was a 24 hour window to get bids in, more than enough time.

I think we should rename it from off-season. There really isn't time to do anything but bids and draft. Your off-season deals better have been negotiated by day 110.

I got the 2nd pick in the draft and had about 90 minutes to shop the pick before drafting where I'm at the mercy of the people on the boards aka Skillz, Greeme, and Game.

Pretty sure I sent out a MASS PM stating when I was going to do free agency.
No excuse.

Meh. This offseason wasn't all that different from others. Just more complaining since it's not Spencer

It's unlikely to change, but a schedule would make things easier. And lessen the excuses of those who miss things. Especially when an off-season happens over a weekend.

also BBS has pretty much been simmed the way for the past 10 real years. Tradition for tradition's sake stunts change. The question really should be do we need change, will it help maintain the shrinking pool of GMs, etc etc. Worth a discussion at least.

Sidenote: I pretty much dislike "traditions" in a general sense so my viewpoint is pretty bias here. And I'm usually the last to do bids and unlike Liam Neeson, I don't like lists.

Says the most impatient person on the planet. You didn't watch the 100M final at the olympics because you said it took to long.

I actually feel I am simming much slower than Spencer does..... Spencer probably would have done Days 2-3 by now.
Essentially the turn around between Free Agency and Draft I'm sure if anyone decides to research it a bit was much faster with Spencer than it has been with me.
If I sim any slower than I have been well.....

so yes I think to suggest we're simming fast is pretty ridiculous.
