its like nobody else even wanted to try and contend with you two though Teams without a top ten pick in a creation draft pretty much cannot contend immediately. It's silly to even try. |

A lot of teams were just determined to rebuild off jump. So much youth went in front of the legitimate studs. Anyone of those mid teams could have picked up a stud + made a trade for another 1st and grabbed another stud. 2 studs = auto contention here

Guys like Melo, Arenas, Pau, Chandler, etc went over guys like Shaq, Nash, Ray Ray.. and if those guys wanted to go young they could have got young studs like Brand and such. Didn't make sense to me but I'm one of the main beneficiaries so I'm not complaining
